Honourable mentions: Benzema, Neymar, Gaya, Musacchio, Modric, Griezmann, Vidal, Fuego, Andre Gomez, and Busquets

Coach: Paco Jemez

Honourable mention: Messi, Valencia's coach (his name escaped my mind)

Wasn't a fan of Alves last season but this season he has been very good.

Suarez over Neymar for me. Been far more decisive when required. Neymar has been fantastic as well but it was just a matter of preference. James has been excellent for Madrid. They will most likely finish 2nd in la liga and he has been their top 3 player if not top 2. Griezmann has been good but I'll put him on the bench instead.

Spot on actually. Not that Suarez or James had bad seasons, both actually enjoyed good first seasons but Griezmann and Neymar have performed better over the course of the campaign.

Agreed, as i said i haven't watched much and i'd say Suarez and James are only limited due to injury and suspension otherwise it's a no brainer but the sheer consistency of Neymar and Griezmann in terms of goals is hard to ignore.

Hate to play against relegation sides at the end of the season. First of all they make it harder fighting for their lives, 2nd of all I don't like being the team who hits the last nail in the coffin of relegation teams.
