Deferred payments or something cause of the Amnesty rule I think.

There's a guy in baseball named Bobby Bonilla who's getting paid by the New York Mets currently. He retired 15 years ago, I believe they still have to pay him for another 10 years.

One of the most underrated and overlooked players in NBA history.

Wow seriously? that's a shock, as good as those early 80s Sixers teams were he was the key to get them over the line and finally get Dr J the championship in the NBA and the MVP seasons in Houston and Washington.

I didn't think i would be so shocked about a death of a player so soon after Chocolate Thunder.

Seems too young, you know relatively.

Masterful rebounder on both ends. Nobody like him who just threw shots at the rim knowing he would get his own rebound.

Without doubt one of the most overlooked players, even among his position historically.

Roy Hibbert has REALLY slimmed down it seems. Hope it makes him durable. He only needs to be 4th option on offense at best anyways.

What is this obsession with slimming down?

I get it when your a skillful, finesse player who is trying their best to keep a quickness advantage.

But a big, spacing fill big man who needs to protect the rim, hold his position in the post and fight for boards? Madness.

I feel like I should be into the Heat, but im just not. I am just not convinced it will work as it should on paper. Dragic needs the ball in his hands, but Wade, Deng and Whiteside fail to space the floor. Trying to over come this I feel like is too much despite all the talent.

Especially with their back court. Bosh is going to go back to being a spot up shooter imo, especially with Dragic and Wade having the ball in his hands for the majority of the shot clock.

Add into Deng, Green, Chalmers etc. A lot more 3pt shots for this team this season.

I think you guys are both forgetting how good Wade is off ball, it will be fine.

But where will he cut to with Whiteside and his defender in the way?

If you could throw Whiteside the ball in the high post and make secondary plays after that I could understand, but he cant play that far from the rim.

A Dragic pick and pop with Bosh is either an open shot for Bosh, a lob to Whiteside at the rim or an open middle for Dragic to drive...but all that falls apart when Wade and Deng's defender get in the way and let them shoot from the outside or Wade attempts to cut where Whiteside already is.

Plus, Deng is an injury waiting to happen anyway so then your left with Green, Wade and Dragic...none of whom can defend a lick at this point.

I'm watching the Bucks specifically Jabari. Opposite Dani, now that Monroe is gone and with the Bucks I'm interested to see how he'll do.

Then I'll catch some Rockets and Hornets games to see Dekker and Kaminsky.
