I have watched Gamespot, IGN, Video Gamer and Games radar and most of them have praised the story so far.

Different people having different opinions shocker, as for the Ubisoft comparison the only comparison I'm seeing is crafting parts to make gear.

The rest is nothing like Ubisoft game imo.

Even if the story isn't that good though I don't mind though, I never expected that from it tbh.

Although most seem to agree that the side quests are not that great sadly.

88/100 on metcritic is a pretty good aggregate score.

Glad it didn't flop.

Highest of the year so far, but with Zelda and Mass Effect both within the next 3 weeks I'm not sure how long that will last lol.

No 90s so far though even if there's been like 7 80+ games already.

Nioh got a user score of 90/100 which is the closest.

Zelda will be like 98/100 lol.

They are not fetch quests from what I understand BTW, just that they are not as high quality as the main quest stuff.

I guess we'll see.

I mean different people have different opinions lol, there's reviewers who have praised them.

I'd say the mixed reaction to the side quests probably means they are of mixed quality tbh.

The Witcher 3's sidequests were of mixed quality. I'm pretty sure everyone and MT's mom thought those were generally excellent, though hmm Even Yakuza 0 had good to great sidequests. The fetch quests in games need to stop. Now. Combat in Horizon looks pretty fun.

As I said because they are not as a high as the main quest doesn't mean they are fetch quests.

In fact I didn't mention fetch quests at all, as most of the reviews I mentioned didn't either.

almost every quest in TW3 was better than main quests in FFXV lol. I can't remember many that weren't ranging from good-amazing. Reminds me I need to get around to Blood and Wine. Might do that after Horizon and Mass Effect.

I haven't looked at any reviews besides the one I listened to earlier for this and probably won't, I know I'm gonna get it regardless. I did see comments on NEOGAF saying that it's apparently quite a challenging game.

No comparison lol

It's probably a month or so since I finished FF15 but can't remember a single memorable quest apart from the Train scene.

Yeah I read that too lol, also most reviews won't tell you much. Most of them seem to feel similarly about the game for the most part. (although some seem to enjoy the story more than others, which is natural I suppose)

Gonna play on normal to be safe lol.

I did it before then hmm

Besides it doesn't come naturally when you ignore Gwent, various weird random things like chucking people off edges, headshot people with crossbows and igniting people with Dragons Dream bomb, only playing on normal and so on.

I don't look at trophy lists and if I didn't decide 3 playthroughs in to do it I probably wouldn't have done any of those things till this day. ( well except Death March and Gwent anyway)

I don't know how you manage to shuffle these games around after you buy them. Surely, you end up not ever playing some of them? It would definitely make more economical sense to purchase games that you know you're going to play through to the end Razz You can just pick up the other games for cheap, later on.
