But what's wrong with being John Terry'esque? (question from a MU fan) Every man has his ups&downs in life. Despite his penalty miss against MU in '08 and other little and less significant mistakes, he had a fantastic career until now.

Frustration, nerves, anger cand cause a lot of behavioural problems, but as long as his behaviour on and off the pitch didn't affect his performances too much, there is nothing wrong.

if you cant see the up side of being more like rio than john terry maybe football is not a sport for you. cheers

Not really Terry has been a fantastic defender for a decade, Stones will do well to be 10% of the defender Terry has been.

Lol who cares what Terry has been doing off the field. Rio wasn't an angel either.

On the pitch both are one of the best defenders PL have seen.

As a neutral fan, it doesn't matter what the player does off the field, but for him, for his progress as a football player it may sometimes matter. It is to be taken in consideration.

In Terry's case, it didn't really affect him in a negative way.

Mole, I think the guy tried to say that Liverpool ar spending more time in attack, he wasn't talking about efficiency. Well Chelsea played a lot of counter attack and managed to score from less opportunites than Liverpool probabily had. So I think he is trying to say that Liverpool is a team with more attacks and attempts in a game than Chelsea.

Not sure if it is like this, but I was trying to explain his point. Correct me if I am wrong.

it don't matter if Chelsea scored 600 goals last season. my point was Chelsea are far more defensive than Liverpool. and john terry would get raped playing for a team that pushes men forward like Liverpool. it has nothing to do with goals scored. but you knew that didn't you.
