So we have a title race next season. It's strange not wanting Conte to succeed. It just seems wrong.

The Inter Curva Nord already released a statement "clarifying" that they are not Juve and giving Conte some warnings of sorts in their welcome.

Am i the only one who doesn't rate Conte around here?

Inter, with the same squad, will still finish 3rd or 4th under Conte.

Squad needs upgrading, Conte is not a world coach.

This is the same Conte that let Mo Salah go and could not see the gem he had at his disposal

This is the same Conte who finished 30 Pts behind Man City (will end up 30 points behind Juventus in Serie A)

This is the same Conte who lost home and away to City in 2017-18 season

This is the same Conte who finished 2nd to Roma in UCL group stages

This is the same Conte who got hammered by Barcelona 4-1 on Agg, same Barcelona that later chocked against Roma.

He is Overrated. In fact, he is not even rated. Only here in GL have i ever seen anyone giving him any credits.

He is Horrible.

Doing it with a team that finished seventh the season before and going undefeated in the process sure is though

Teams like Bayern beat a Juventus team that started Matri and Vucinic up front? Definitely a managerial problem

Then he took the worst Italy team of all time to the quarters in the Euro only to lose on penalties. Eder and Pelle as the strikers. What a time to be alive.

Then beats Pep’s City with Chelsea in the PL.

He’s a manager that has never had a world class squad in his career. Only teams with a handful of standout players and a lot of weak spots and yet he delivers results. Really a top manager for me.

Only thing I didn’t like was him quitting on Juventus and not believing in them to spend the money or make the next jump but at that time, he wasn’t far off.

I am a Conte fan and I don't say It now
Always rated as coach (I've written here in past too) and It Is the reason why I am very satisfied about this choice
Not all Inter fans are so , let's be clear , he Is so divisive because of his Juve past.
But personally I don't care about it. They are professionists.
I think his Juve teams played also an entertaining football (more than under Allegri ) , so organized, armonic , you could realize job made during week.
Nothing was improvised .. Midfielders able to insert .. I hope he can do same here . Of course we need to improve squad , but this Is the first essential tile to get upgrade

A Sky (and Inter fan ) TV presenter, Alessandro Cattelan,on his TV programme played a game with envelopes with Conte
Names of some clubs were written on bag ( it wasn't visible for the public) and Conte had to comment these..
At the end Cattelan didn't open 3 envelopes, and he said " I will open what I think it will be next club . We'll see if I predicted correctly"
Everyone thought it was Inter, because he was Inter fan, but he predicted Bayern.

Reading the Conte interview now as Inter's coach officially is just sad, he will make a winning Inter. We should have been all over him to bring him back.

"I must work, work so much. It's in my DNA. Marotta's presence helped because it was confirmation that (Inter's) intention are very serious. From 8 seasons they don't fight for the title. Here they want to change things and I was struck by Zhang's determination.

I can accept that at first there is little chance of winning, but we must be there. It can be done, we have no limit. As a coach it's normal to work for different clubs. I can't wait to bring Inter to where it belongs. (Fans) rightly expect so much."

Every year I hear Conte's teams get linked to big-name players and all he ends up with is a grand total of zero. He has no pull.

Expect Barella and Quag or something. It's okay though, Inter will probably still have their best season in years. They will be the ones to end Juve's dominance.
