“Some names have not come out,” Marotta said, speaking about the transfer campaign in a Press conference.
Maybe you’re not aware of them, big names. Sometimes it goes under the radar. We had contact for Hamsik over a month ago, we spoke to De Laurentiis 10 times.

Now Marotta is saying that he officially ended negotiations Aug 18th for draxler. This is 2 days later that he denied Juventus wanted Draxler. Marotta's incompetence and lies is making Juve look really, really bad.

Marotta: ‘Difficult to deal with Schalke’
By Football Italia staff
Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta slams Schalke over the Julian Draxler deal - ‘a very mysterious club’.
The Bianconeri were involved in lengthy negotiations for the German international, who eventually moved to Wolfsburg, much to the chagrin of some Juve fans.
“There’s bitterness because we’ve lost two in a row,” Marotta admitted in a Press conference to present Hernanes and Mario Lemina.
“There’s bitterness and even skepticism and pessimism over what we’ve done. Our culture doesn’t allow us to make excuses, though it’s clear we have to talk about being handicapped slightly this year.
“This year we’re undergoing a metamorphosis, with more players than usual coming in and out, so we needed more time, but we’re Juventus and we have to win.
“On Draxler, I officially pulled out of the running on August 19 at Vilar Perosa. It was difficult to deal with Schalke, a very mysterious club where no-one knew who could talk, so we had difficulty interacting with them.
“We’ve done deals with Manchester City, Bayern Munich and many other clubs, that’s affected how we conduct other deals.
“We knew we wouldn’t reach a conclusion because the asking price was disproportionate, and the player's motivation wasn't at the top.
“The outcome depends on the players, and if the player has doubts then it’s difficult to reach a conclusion.
“Draxler is very young, we want to win again this year, the Coach has to reunite the team and move the team forward, and you need motivation for that.
“I’m not worried about the players, but maybe it’s the first time Juventus has had this kind of [young] squad available, so motivation is important. We have to transfer the winning mentality to those with less experience.
“Confirming a winning team is already like a big signing. When you have offers for players of around €100m, and these offers are coming from top clubs, you can say you’re not budging, but we’re still proud.
“Juventus want to win, so we decided to hold on to a top player like Pogba. As for the rest, a club like Juventus is ambitious, we don’t hide that.
“So, we try to look for targets who are perhaps utopian, to go looking for players who aren’t approachable for many reasons, maybe because they earn too much or cost too much, maybe because they’re happy in their current team.
“I’m not going to name them, because we’re just coming out of this Draxler soap opera, and that will make it even harder.
“We look for youth, while always looking for a major signing. If we don’t get one in a certain year, then he’ll come a year later.”

Pastore: ‘Juventus wanted me’
By Football Italia staff
Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Javier Pastore reveals ‘I was approached by Juventus’.
The 26-year-old left Palermo in 2011 to move to the French capital, and explains there was the possibility of returning to Serie A this summer.
“I was approached by Juventus,” Pastore revealed in an interview with ESPN Radio.
“But Paris Saint-Germain never had any intention of selling me, and I had no intention to go away and to leave France.
“Since I arrived the team has grown a lot, every year quality reinforcements come in.
“[Angel] Di Maria for example, I’m pleased with his arrival, we understand each other well on the pitch. He’s an incredible player who can make the difference by himself.”

All these news for Pastore and Hamsik are pointless and don't justify the weak work done by Marotta to get a AM.Each summer we are in contact with everyone and end up with weaker options mostly Serie A players.

According to today's edition of Gazzetta dello Sport ', Juventus would be thinking to anticipate the arrival in January of Domenico Berardi in Turin at the reopening of the transfer campaign 2015/16, a move aimed at offering a different module that could also be the 4- 3-3.

If he is fool to go back to rot on the bench than ok. Well we've had great 2 years from him and for those 20m, we've got 90m in return last year because of his goals.

Well under the right conditions of course he'll pick RM.But it really depends in how he will perform this season,if he keeps developing Real will most likely sell one between Benzema or Ronaldo next year and basically all they need are 10 mln to bring him back.

I hate the fact we could not get de bryne because he made 21 assists last season so it was good option to think about it

Real Madrid and Juventus both knew exactly that Morata is talented
So it was smart deal for the both sides
Just think about it, 35 million is a big money
We can spend that money to buy a trequartista
And we still have MANDZUKIC + DYBALA

City paid $80M for him or something of that nature. Juventus would MAYBE spend half of that on one player, he was never an option

Did I say he was...? Juventus was not going to pay what Wolfsburg wanted for him. City paid a massive sum and Wolfsburg was still hesitant to sell but he insisted on leaving. In any case, this argument is retroactive and redundant. I do not believe he was an option in the summer and he has already moved elsewhere

He won't Rotake in the bench. They would play him as a starter, because Benzema is the only true center forward they got. Benzema isn't staying for very long as well so they would need a long term replacement in morata. He would be interested to go back in 2017 when they need him where they will offer him what we can't, a 6-7m euros per season. Unless we trust him very much like pogba, we can offer him that much...

Juve know what to pay for each player. We are realistic , unlike City... They spend 40m €s on a defender... Mangala and Otamendi.

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
I am just saying
De Bryne made 21 assists last season, I think that is impressive if you think about it, and he is worth 80 million, because his statistics tell that he contributes for the team as much as POGBA,
and sure
you may want to pay 80 million for someone like POGBA, DE BRYNE, and it is worth it
but 20 million is too much for DRAXLER, because this guy is not too much special, you better have the ones like HERNANES instead of DRAXLER
I think a good option would be INIESTA
BARCELONA may want to bring some fresh legs, and INESTA could be a good option to think about it
edited;
ozil is another option
ozil can contribute much more than Draxler

REAL MADRID is a club who doesn't really want old players on their side, unless someone is really special like C RONALDO for example
I believe that REAL MADRID will surrender on BENZEMA same like they done with the ones like DI MARIA, OZIL, KHEDIRA, ALONSO, CONTRAO, CASILAS,
they will surrender on BENZEMA and sure will want MORATA back, to keep the team FRESH,
but 35 million is not bad, we can use them to get a good player

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
Juventus are reportedly close to coming to terms on a new contract for Alvaro Morata, rejecting a return to Real Madrid.
Radio Marca claims that while the deal isn’t yet finalised, it is at an advanced stage.
Morata moved to Juventus from Madrid in the summer of 2014 and Los Blancos hold a buyback option on their cantera product.
Marca note Madrid can re-sign Morata for €30m before July 2016 and €36m in July 2017.
It had recently been rumoured that Real Madrid wanted to bring the striker back earlier.
He turns 23 next month and since moving to Turin has become a Spain international, scoring against his former club in the Champions League semi-final.
In all competition, he has scored 16 goals and provided seven assists in 50 appearances for Juventus.

We should have done that swap for Hamsik with i believe it was rugani and or sturaro..... i know rugani is the heir to chiellini but wow are we missing a player that connects the midfield with the attack! we could have done that and spent big on a centre back next summer ... I get Berardi is the future and a very good but if our formation doesn't suit him then we should stick with the 4-3-1-2 formation and not worry about him anymore we need world class players right now
