I'm certainly Schweini cost close to 15M, and not 6M.

Depay was also 30M euros which is more than 19M pounds.

Not that any of it matters....
they defo spent more on players than they got back for Evans and Di Maria.

A look of sheer frustrations at the misgivings of his squad.

Everyone knew what our deficiencies were, yet he and the board flaffed about trying to get unobtainable players, waste time on our GK situation.

yada yada...I could go on and on.

 welcome to reality Louis you stubborn so and so.

I love it when Van Gal realises that his slow ass predictable boring lifeless possession game isn't working and he decides to bring on Fellaini, Yanited go from classic Ajax to prime stoke in an instant. Philosophy

The CB situation is really suspect, but honestly I don't think they fall out of the top four. They are good enough to get to the CL again.

Imo only City, Chelsea and Arsenal are guaranteed top4 place. It's going to be a great battle between Liverpoo/Manu ....Spurs. Despite all their problems last year Man u still finished 3rd and this year I think their main problem is that they lack a goalscorer. Rooney seems past it and he never was a big goalscorer anyways. Martial may have cost up to 50millions euros but for he won't be better than someone like Welbeck ( at least for this season ).

Yeah. The title is between arsenal and City, with Chelsea coming in undisputed 3rd.

The competition for that 4th spot trophy isn't very tough tbh.
Utd should be able to come out on top of Spurs and Liverpool easily.

In the following years the league will adjust to this 'big 3' situation though, as the 3+1 CL spots will become 2+1.

Arsenal haven't been any more convincing than Liverpool or United really.

After City the top 4 is wide open. Chelsea look like shit, Arsenal, United and Liverpool have all been unconvincing and the rest of the field have just become stronger which will make it harder to just roll the mid - lower table teams to overcome potential deficiencies against direct rivals.

Chelsea usually set up best though in head to head matches for top 4 competitors so I would expect them to make the top 4 pretty easily...but if their early season struggles continue it wouldn't surprise me if Mourinho's act could put them on the cusp of missing a spot.

United need more players who can take on defenders. You're too easy to defend against if you've got no one who can put defenders on the back foot. Young looked like United's best player against Swansea after he came on, because he could create a bit of space for himself with the ball and put in crosses / find teammates.

That's not allowed under LVG's current play-it-safe rigid system. Our attacking players are afraid of playing a through ball and risk losing the ball, let alone try to take on players.

Like I said, LVG is the reason we look so dull and 'shit'. He stifles the life out of any flair in the side.
