They are dead to most people now.

No MGS, Silent Hill, Castlevania etc etc.... They are lucky that PES plays so well and captures something that FIFA never has otherwise i wouldn't even buy it tbh.

While I don't think they will stop developing PES, I'd still be worried that they might stop caring about it and give out undeveloped versions or half arsed attempts.


but then, I am sure there are A LOT of companies who would love to jump in the football market.

Rocket League should snatch the CL rights once Konami goes down under imo

Depends how it sells really, as it does really well outside of UK markets tbh.

Tbh i'm not that fussed either way, i play PES because it captures the individuality of footballers a lot better than FIFA does. That's the main reason FIFA bores me as a lot of the players feel samey.

If PES stopped selling at all to the point they stopped making it, it wouldn't really bother me as to be frank football games never keep my attention for much anyway.

I spend most of the year not playing them, despite the fact i buy them anyway lol.

If only FIFA had PES' gameplay and CL licenses.

Why not? FIFA needs CL licenses and more realistic gameplay.

PES gameplay is as bad as FIFAs. Both are shit and just compete to be slightly better than each other.

Neither of them are like football, but PES is at least more realistic imo. Playmakers aren't useless on PES, pace isn't op etc etc.

PES has a lot problems but gameplay is very good IMO.

One thing that really frustrates me on FIFA, that few people seem to complain about, is that occasionally (only sometimes) when a player cuts in from the side and makes Robben- like diagonal/sideway runs just outside the box, it's impossible to keep up with their speed even if you're controlling a faster player on the defensive side.

For some reason, the game thinks that players who make such runs deserve to get a speed boost so that they can emulate the prime Robbens and Bales. Anyone else noticed this? I swear, friggin' Schweini managed to outrun BALE this way, and blast a shot into the far corner. He looked like Walcott on steroids. So many things in FIFA seem to be programmed into the game, in order to directly affect the outcome of matches. It's frustrating as f@...

But i have made peace with this a long time ago, the game just isn't for me and they are not trying to make a game which i would like.

It's not just the wing, it's everywhere imo. Players have this super sonic ultra boost that allows them to walk past defenders. That's in addition to the gliding ice skating thing, which makes passing useless. Though in FIFA 16 the gliding seems to have been toned down and players actually have a weighty feeling to them, which is how it should be.

Stoke still plays possession on fifa while bayern/barca cross in to lewa/suarez.

You sure that's in the main game lol? because in the demo's it feels like that every year and it magically disappears in the main game loool.

I'm pretty sure I've experienced it all; GKs kicking and punching the ball into their own net.. I've even seen the GK stumble over the ball and score an own goal or pass it directly to an opponent player that way. I've seen the ball bounce off the head of the GK and into his own net, and I've see a shot from midfield bounce off one of my players, hit the GK and then roll inside the goal while the GK is "chasing" it as if he's got a house strapped to his back.

I'm always somewhat prepared for these things to happen. I'm never surprised when the opponent gouges out Ramos' eyes and is rewarded with a penalty, or when Messi beats Varane in a mid-air duel but I will never make peace with it lol. I once played a match where FIFA bullshit and THREE penalties from out of nowhere allowed my opponent to pull an Arsenal-Newcastle on me and come back from a 4 goal deficit, and the other player sent me a message saying "i feel for ya m8" His message was no consolation, by the way.

For some reason, every time I purchase a new FIFA game I somehow convince myself that the game is going to be different from it's predecessors, that the outcome of matches will finally be completely decided by my actions and ability or inability to control the opponent, or at the very least improve upon the previous game.. but no, It's just a subscription service for high blood pressure that occasionally lets inferior players shit all over me because they can.

You should check out clubs Thimmy, our club gets speared in the box every game, yet don't get any pens. Oh and things like this happen.

I thought clubs was decently fun on FIFA 12 or 13, but when I've played with Tom, Cheese, Versacci and co on FIFA 15 I've been bored beyond belief. Every time I accept to join, I regret it as soon as someone tells me what not to do.. can't do through-balls, can't lob, can't dribble, no lobbed passes.. at one point, all I was allowed to do was litterally to just press X. I don't understand how you guys find enjoyment in try-harding to such an extent. Also, I believe I have better chemistry with pub players, for whatever reason lol. I'm not even exaggerating. Playing clubs with GL is like an awkward high-five with a stranger who's hands are half the size of yours.

I understand tbh the only reason i say that when i play is because there's nothing more frustrating than making a run for a pass and instead of someone making that easy pass they choose to dribble and end up losing the ball.

There are many times on clubs where i feel like i'm a ghost which is why i really don't like playing tbh.

That was when we played randomly, then we moved to a possession style and ended up winning div 1. So if you do decide to play again, then yeh, it's not too hard to figure out what to do when playing possession.

I completely get that. And it would've been fine if I was allowed to do more things than just pressing X, which basically just makes me a static cog I know what you mean by being a ghost, but I think that's mostly a result of Tom, Cheese and Sacci having such great chemistry that it's natural for them to play the ball between them. I may be wrong.

I messed up quite a few times because I simply didn't know what I was allowed to do when I received the ball. I remember receiving the ball in front of an almost open goal, and I somehow managed to lob it over the goal because I spent too much time thinking about what I was allowed to do, and what I wasn't allowed to do, instead of simply pressing O. Most frustrating moment was when no one wanted to be ANY, and I unwillingly accepted to do it, just to get things moving. I played like crap, and then everyone left. I just can't play FIFA properly when it's on those terms, nor do I enjoy playing like that. My best games on FIFA 15 clubs have been with glory hunting randoms.
