As for our actual youth players (not purchased ones), due to the building of Cobham in 2006, we're only just beginning to see the benefits of that now, as our younger players (Loftus-Cheek for example) have spent their entire youth careers at a world class facility, instead of our old one. So we will continue to produce better talents than we have previously, giving them a better chance of making the first team.

but they are not youth players from Chelsea. they are players signed to the club. and they are not signed to play in the first team. fair play to them for making money on them. but im with hans here. the youth system at Chelsea is a joke. since mourinho first came to Chelsea in 2005 what ever it was. how many players from the youth team are getting games now. mourinho is only interested in star players to play now. mourinho is the best manager in the world for getting results. but he will never look to the youth team for players.

Only players I would count as Liverpool youth is Flanagan and Ibe, so how is your youth policy any better?

Chelsea's youth policy is the biggest disaster in the footballing world, if you consider just HOW MANY *bleep* U21 players they amass and how none of them ever plays for Chelsea.

The Brazilian appears set to join the Giallorossi for an agreed fee of €15m, according to Spanish outlet El Mundo Deportivo.

Barcelona paid €4m to have transfer precedence on the player and are still in the race. Fluminense have already informed them of their agreement with Roma.

Now the Blaugrana have 48 hours to match the Roman offer, or they'll lose their rights over the 18-year-old.

Juventus were also linked with the player and might make another bid.

Because we totally can blow 15m on a midfielder we don't need. I just don't get it.

Clearly need a RB/LB....but no, let's spend that on a midfielder when we're already stacked there.

20M for him is not worth it imo. Barca have there youngsters only waiting to get promoted and signing some random Brazilian would be kinda telling them F U right in the face...
