Well  , Inter is not getting rid of Shaqiri simply because he didn't perform for these   months IMHO. Probably there are  extra-football reasons for it , this is reported from  some rumours ( not specifing what ... how did he behave in Munchen ? Was everything okay? Professional life ? )  and Rummenigge said " I know the reason why Inter want to get rid of Shaqiri , they said me , but I can't reveal it "

There have been many youngsters over the years who haven't been able to break into the starting XI at Chelsea though. It's unfair to say they were all unfit/pathetic/...

Besides, only looking at the past and making predictions for the future is equivalent to driving while only looking into the rear view mirror.

how long has he been gone from Chelsea 1 season is it. it would be some turn around in that short space of time if he came back to England for big money after one season and was top class.

Given time, he would have, but KDB didn't want to challenge for a spot, he wanted to be given one, week in, week out. He wanted out because he felt like he had to play every week, Jose felt differently, so we sold him.

Nothing wrong with his ability, he just didn't accept the role he was given for us.

Also don't blame KDB entirely. While there were enough brushes painting his exit as a sign of mental weakness and shirking from competition, some players (especially younger ones) genuinely feel that they can only improve with regular game time and trust & confidence from the manager.

Heck, even Özil said the trust and confidence on Wenger was one of the prime reasons why he chose to leave the riches of Madrid for the shambles of North London.

I can sympathize with KDB on this front. Not everyone is built the same way, and that is not reason enough for said person to not deserve any respect.
