Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 4
FX has set their sights on a Sons Of Anarchy spin-off. The network is teaming with Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter to develop a spin-off of the long-running biker drama, TVWise has confirmed.
Few details are available at this time, but it is understood that the project will revolve around the Mayan biker gang, who appeared in several seasons of Sons Of Anarchy. It is not immediately clear if any of the actors who played members of said gang (such as Emilio Rivera who played Marcus Alvarez) will segue to the spin-off.
The proposed spin-off series is set up at FX Productions and Fox 21 Television Studios and would be devised and executive produced by Kurt Sutter. He is not expected to have much day-to-day involvement should the project land a series order, however, as he remains focused on his other FX series The Bastard Executioner. A search for a potential show runner is presently underway.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 4
Would've liked them to do a spin off in a few years time based around one of Jax's sons.
SOA was easily one of my favourite shows of all time though.

If you're talking about the aussie female prison show. then yea quality show, tad better than Orange IMO. Definately worth the watch.
Extremely underated show since it's an Aussie show, which doesnt get as much exposure as US shows. Definately a darker version of OISTNB. both similar in terms of telling the story of an inmate via flashback.

Imagine that punch in the gut when Australian Ruby Rose chose to star in OITNB instead of this.

she was in the US trying to make a name for herself before Wentworth started
Read an interview where she said she was rejected from Fast n Furious 7 because she looked too similar to Justin Beiber lol probs will come back to Aus and audition for Wentworth since she got some exp

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 4
Seems like it's on par with the netflix shows like marco polo and bloodline.
@Mara
Wenthworth is really popular in UK for some reason lol. People always seem to talk about it. A lot more than OITNB.

considering I've never heard of them and I watch some utter trash this doesn't bode well
also didn't realize it was an escobar biopic or w/e, thought it was set in modern days
probably won't watch now

Started watching 24 hours last night. Knew about it since I was like 14 but never got the chance to watch it till yesterday
The suspense is ridiculous ffs. Haven't felt this since Prison Break S1 & 2 lol. But 8 seasons? Does it become shit later on? Only watched 4 episodes so far lol

It's great dude. I remember literally watching seasons 1 and 2 in 24 hours nonstop. So suspenseful.
Some seasons are better than others but I loved all of them.

Narcos, a crime thriller about drugs, a guy with a moustache on the cover. What a shame. If only it was a goatee I would have watched.

Not sure if it's just that review saying it's not great, but it seems to be getting A LOT of hype.
Very highly rated by many on the internet

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 4
Meh tried watching it. Turned it off after 5 minutes. You have to be really in the mood to get into it. It's not like GoT, TWD, House of Cards or Suits where the very first few scenes hook you in.

Don't understand why at teh beginning of every episode they keep doubting House when he makes a diagnosis. And then at the end of every episode they all admit House was right
