The Lulz if Nasri ends up usurping Sterling and Navas as a starter

That was such an outrageous pass by Toure, lol.
I have to admit that City's defence looks much better than I thought it would. Kompany is like a different player to last season's Kompany.

I'm surprised that Navas is starting ahead of Nasri.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '15-'16 V3
Yaya's assist was sublime. That's the type of stuff people end up taking for granted and just focus on when he's walking on the pitch.
As for the poster saying Nasri should start over Navas, that would be a massive mistake.
Nasri is a better player than Navas but the guy just clogs the middle of the field up and offers no width and is a black hole when he gets the ball. No to mention he's slow as dirt.
He is a very talented player but rarely plays up to his ability since he's been at City, he was a much better and more consistent player at Arsenal.
With Navas and Sterling on the wings, they don't even need to score, the width they create opens the pitch up for Silva, Yaya and Kun to work there magic.

I 've read Berahino is very close to join with Tottenham
I don't get the sense about this transfer. Spurs need of other and Berahino is going to be the Kane's back up he won't play

Kane needs support and Berahino is versatile and can play on the wing as well as being a lot more mobile than anything they have.
Makes a lot of sense IMO, they'll both play.

Or Spurs are getting ready to lose Kane because Man Yoo badly need a Cf and they will splash the cash on deadline day (or close to end of the window) and most likely buy Kane.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '15-'16 V3
Not really, not everything has to be a conspiracy to sell players
It's quite obvious that Spurs lack pace and quality upfront and Kane has been very isolated, to want someone to go alongside him as a 2 or playing off the wing is extremely natural.

Or like I said, there is a HUGE possibility that they will lose Kane.
Not everything is as straight forward as it's seems either.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '15-'16 V3
^ I think when you have Mason - Bentaleb as partnership you should think more about it than Berahino , when I watch Tottenham I notice it is a team who suffers to cover /defence while it's a team fearful in attack ... besides Pochettino said he believed in Lamela this year ( or Chadli is legit for Spurs . Berahino can play in both the sides ) . But anyway Spurs are famous to waste money

Kane and Berahino have played together plenty of times for England U21s, either with Kane playing behind him or Berahino playing on the flank, usually the left. Berahino could easily by the next Jay Rodriguez for Pochettino.

Spurs do need another striker. Midfield and defense are overrated. You need good strikers.
Barcas treble proved that.

Yeah and this is true in some fashion but until Spurs get the CM they've missed since Modric and stop leaking easy goals then I refuse to believe that the striker position is what's really holding Spurs back.
Especially considering goals for last year wasn't awful, it was the goals against. Something like 4th worst in the EPL, for a team that finished fifth
Would love to get Berahino

I'm going to actually refute this post by saying that on the contrary of it being a huge possibility, there is 0% chance of this happening.
Kane may move in the future, but it isn't now, and I doubt it's next year either.

Mahrez always had the skill. I've been following him ever since he got called up. His problems were inconsistency and end product. Pretty much Brahimis situation but mahrez is actually scoring a lot, so let's see where this goes
