Mahrez always had the skill. I've been following him ever since he got called up. His problems were inconsistency and end product. Pretty much Brahimis situation but mahrez is actually scoring a lot, so let's see where this goes

Benteke for £32.5m.
Berahino for £20-25m.

The Premier League market is so bloated with all the money flowing in.

You could add Sterling for 50m, Stones for potentially 40m, Lallana for 25m, Schniederlin for 24m, Lovren for 20m.

It's not going to get any better, prices are just going to keep rising.

I wasn't bothering with Chelsea, United, or City bids because all three can and have operated completely outside of standard market values on occasion.

What about some of the money being spent by the relegation fodder?

Barcas treble proved that.

Doesn't prove anything, they have a great pressure system, a world class midfield, good enough defence and the GK weakness is gone. Then, you put the best attacking force ever, yeah, you can't really use them as example for fecking Tottenham Laughing

Well he is not wrong. Liverpool almost won the league with Suarez and Sturridge carrying us and our 50 goal conceding defense.

Yep, it's going to get worse too with the new TV deal kicking in. I mean, I made a list earlier in the Liverpool section but...

Ayew, Afellay, Payet, Deulofeu, Cabaye, Wijnaldum, Mitrovic, Mbemba, Lens, Amavi, Gueye, Veretout, Capoue, Berghuis, Behrami, Shaqiri, Okazaki, Rondon, Thauvin, Traore, Gradel, etc. all joining teams at or below the mid table line. Now you may or may not agree with the quality of all these players, but every team is improving and the league is getting more competitive from the bottom up. I mean Watford just came up and right away added Capoue, Berghuis, Behrami and Prodl who are all quality players.

These next few years are going to be pretty interesting.

It happens, i just don't think it's a rule, you need really extraordinary forwards and the rest of the team can't be very bad.

In which world a midfield with Iniesta, Rakitic and Busquets is not world class?

Like I've said before, I can very well see Kane joining United, just not in this window.

Arsenal v Liverpool tonight, going to be sweet to continue our 100% start at the Emirates.

A little nervous for today...watching the game with 4 Arsenal fans and my daughter. Really hoping for a statement from Rodgers here...all signs point to the 4-3-3 with Lucas at the base right now (or at least rumours) which is pretty much as good as what we can put out right now. I like our chances but we have a really hard time at the Emirates so I'd be happy with a draw.

Benteke gonna style on deez hoz tho.

I think it'll be closer than that if BR plays 4-3-3. I'm going for a 2-1 win for Arsenal both goals from a midfielder.

I dunno Sanchez hasn't been particularly impressive while our defence has been pretty strong so far. I still see a 3 - 2 win for Liverpool. Coutinho, Firmino and Benteke are going to give that poor Arsenal defence fits, while a midfield of Lucas, Can and Milner is going to make it really hard for Arsenal to play through the middle as they like to.

It will all depend on our finishing IMO...the attackers are still not really gelled and have a lot of work to do to get familiar with eachother. Will be depending a lot on the individual qualities for this one.

We haven't even created 3 good goal scoring chances in 2 matches combined vs. Stoke and Bournemouth.....yet, predicting SCORING 3 goals at Emirates Proud

I can't even remember the last time we scored 3 there. Must be more more than 10-15 years ago.

A humble 3-1 loss
