That wouldn’t surprise me. I’m on a hiatus from watching RM’s matches these days. They just frustrate me, and I’m not enjoying it. Results aside, we were an even worse team than you, the last time I watched our matches.

I have absolutely no clue how we managed to win the league last season, but I suspect that the Covid break conveniently helped our seniors rest and save their stamina for when it mattered most. We were incredibly underwhelming just before Covid came along, but performed decently after the season resumed.

Merle's death also hit hard  

The show is still goat. Where does it go backwards? Can't remember. Still to encounter Negan, so plenty of good stuff left.

Can't have enough FFS. Only thing not as interesting as before is knowing that Eugene is a fraud, I liked that arc.

I don't share that sentiment, at this point the show was very slow and did little to nothing to advance the plot, also became very repetitive.

Can't say I agree.

It was a bit like that towards the end of season 5, but season 6 is top notch so far, up to E13.

Darryl blowing ups Negan boys was a GOAT moment.

Up to S07E09, this shit is still really really good.

Maybe the young me just lost patience too early. Binging it now has certainly been worth it, especially now when I won't know what's gonna happen soon.

I remember the particular moment when I got sick of the show the first time, anytime now. Maybe not this time...

i randomly watched an episode from the latter half of S05 last night.. when both Rick and Carl were down bad for some pussy in the new place with the old red-haired lady as the leader and Machone was going through a spiritual awakening of some sorts the show became a bad stretched out soap opera by that point, relying on new colourful characters to spark some fun into it, which unfortunately for every Negan there were 10 Eugene's, Jesus's and Ezekiel's

I just said if you read a couple posts up that there was a decline in the second part of season 5, but it picked up again so all is forgiven.
