Liga: Sevilla vs Real Madrid 11/8/15

Big game this weekend. Sevilla aren't exactly in form but we do tend to struggle at Sevilla. James will likely play as well as Pepe. Benzema is also back so we will see if he plays also.

Last match before the international break. Thoughts?

We played like crap against PSG. Those supposedly back from injury aren't in no way shape or form ready to play an intense game, so most of them won't even start.

This is going to be an extremely difficult game, no doubt.

Tricky game away. Some of the injured players are back which could help us if we need to sub someone in to score. As long as we win i wont mind the performance because no matter what form we are in there are certain teams we always struggle with and Sevilla are one of them. Personally i expect us to win but dont expect a clean sheet with this defence

At RB Danilo. For CBs, do they rest Varane and play Pepe and Ramos? At LB, it's Nacho or Arbeloa (or even Denis)????

At Midfield likely Modric, Casemiro and Kroos, although Kovacic is available plus they could go back to just 2 of them.

Up front. it's likely Ronaldo , but do they start James and / or Bale. And what about Isco, does he finally get rested like Varane maybe? That would leave Jese, Lucas and Denis on bench???

This is the first game in quite some time where there are legitimate options and bear in mind we are heading into International break (and many of our players (Bale, Benz, Navas, Kroos, Carvajal, Marcelo (I think I read Modric as well (not too sure about last one)) are being given a break before El Clasico.

Sevilla, particularly at home can be a challenge so Benitez does have some difficult decisions to make for this game!!!!

We'll be without Benzema and, even worse, without Marcelo and Navas. The same Navas who saved our asses on multiple occasions. God help us.

All reports suggest that James and Bale won't start and will only be handed a few minutes in the second half.

Jesé might not play because yesterday he was feeling ill.

Without Navas at Sevilla, we'll surely concede. Let's just hope our attack won't be as dormant as it was against PSG.

James still not fit?

James is involved in a political tug of war between us and the Columbia's FA. He was fit enough to get some minutes vs PSG as per his own words but didnt come on as a sub and now Bale gets to start ahead of him despite being fit for longer.
