It's quite the poetic justice that Mourinho manages @firenze's favourite club with all the shit he pops off about.

This is a big year for Mourinho. He is in his 3rd year, never making it to 4 in any of his previous clubs! Yet he hasn’t won anything note worthy at ManU, while he did at all his others. He also has spent more, and little to show for it. It will be interesting to see what he actually accomplishes this year and if like the other years, will Woodward & co keep him on!

He won 3/5 possible trophies in his first season. Doesn't matter if they weren't exactly prestigious ones. He's absolutely correct, Klopp has to win something. NO EXCUSES. Just like we had none last season.

It depends how you look at it, really. Liverpool dismantled City in the CL and reached the CL final while playing attractive football.

United lost the league mid-November, got kicked out of the CL by Sevilla in the round of 16 and played soul-sucking football throughout the season.

They both ended up trophyless, but I would choose the trophyless-ness of Liverpool over United's any day.

Klopp is overchieving with the squad he has. Mourinho is underachieving with his. Swap both managers and United will go back to being elite again.

People say klopp has to win something after spending big on players and I agree with that. But the fact is the manure Chelsea and city squad still costs much more than the Liverpool squad. All Liverpool had done by signing them players is got them a bit closer to the teams that were miles better than them this time last season.

i understand his frustration though, he is doing a preseason without most of his players, although speaking like that he is also not encouraging the kids to grow and potentially compete for depth. He just kills them with harsh words.
