Pogba should really get kicked out of the club

Supposedly this Pogba photoshoot was a scheduled event, but yeah, sus timing.

I still feel like Mou could succeed at Inter for a couple years tbh. About the only prestigious team I could see him doing well at, besides Bayern. And with Hans calling for Kovac to be sacked, hmm!

I don't know why any top club would hire him any more. It's not just the collapse of his Chelsea side and the results at ManU, but all the negative press about his relationship with his players and his negativity overall. Why would anyone want that?

I think he'll be out of job until Portugal give him a go with the national team.

I think EPL will be boring without a character like Mourinho imo. All the top managers of top 6 right now are goody goody boys of the press.

ufff, I'd actually forgotten about Madrid's woes. This could absolutely happen. I pray it doesn't. Like I said, wouldn't wish him on anyone.

The last time Jose was sacked by Chelsea it was December 17 and it came after a 3-1 loss to Liverpool.  Looks like losing to Liverpool is the straw that broke the camels back

Thought it would come somewhere mid season a bit later not this soon though, quite surprised... on the other hand, this means Man U may have a chance to improve now (as well as not of course), and no more enjoyment of watching them suffer under Mou.... and no more Mou vs Pep... its actually a bit sad

If Mou continues to manage, its hard to see how he will be successful again, hes past it, if he does manage, he will probably eventually end up in some small club is small league or something at the end, perhaps on the way cons some club will money so buy him endless stars, or if he manages NTs, who knows, hes not the kind to just quit and give up though it feels, await more drama from him in the future

I can totally see Flo hiring him to be honest. Do we have any details about how it went ? Sacked, mutual agreement or did he resign ? If its 1 of the latter 2, imo he's heading to us unfortunately.

The Klopp effect may actually be a thing.

i think mourinho was at war with the old trafford hierarchy and they did not help him with the right signings. if you look at man utd they have average players and they have stupid egos. Pogba is the most overrated player ever. He wanted a defender and they did not get him one. i think mourinho wanted a say in player transfers and woodward did not allow it.
None of the man utd signings were pure mourinho type. I have respect for jose for what he has achieved.

Moyes, LvG, and Mourinho have been sacked whereas players like Jones, Smalling, Young, etc. are still at the club since before SAF retired. Mourinho was hardly the root of any problems.

Club needs a massive overhaul from the top, replacing all those people who think that players like the one I mentioned are anywhere near good enough to perform at the top level.

The dude is now a free agent. I pray to god Florentino doesn't turn to him, especially now that our beloved president seems to have lowered his standards quite dramatically.

As much as I would love for Uncle Flo to re-hire José, and as much as I'm pushing this narrative, I think free agent might be the wrong word.
Surely he's being compensated massively for the sacking, and this compensation surely is impacted, or voided, the moment he signs for another job.
So if, as reported, José gets 25m € from Utd for the sacking, theoretically Mendes could ask Uncle Flo to pay these 25m to Mouriinho if he wants to hire him.
Of course they'd probably meet somewhere in the middle.

Can we now officially say that LVG is undoubtedly the best post SAF United manager and his sacking is still a disgrace?

for me the biggest problem united is facing at the moment is the fact that the players dont know which style of football to play. This is partly down to moyes being utterly shit. LVG had his own passing style which didnt work for united. Mourinho has his own playing style which places more emphasis on defense than attack.

So united did not adopt a particular playing style as a result they have players who dont know how to play that type of football. This leads to a flawed transfer policy.

A complete overhaul of players and a suitable manager is needed..

I honestly think I'd stop watching Real Madrid if that happened... until he left. It would be utterly ridiculous.

Not to mention NOBODY would come to Real Madrid among other things.

His relationship with the players didn't work out either and his signings were mostly failures, too.

Out of those Martial has been pretty good for United, imo, and there are a few average-but-serviceable guys in there, but nothing really suggested that United were improving under him.

This is true, Mourinho was successful in every club he managed except for United, wouldn't be surprised if he is successful in his next one as well. I can see a return to Inter tbh.

United is definitely the most dysfunctional club ever since Ferguson left, every coach they brought in they sacked him. Now that media will stop blaming Mourinho for everything, people will see how truly shit this squad is.
