tbh when allen comes on he passes the ball far better then who ever he replacesNishankly wrote:Unique wrote:why don't allen get a start
He can't play DM as he's wasted there, Can gets that spot. Henderson is captain and Milner offers something no other midfielder offers.
He should move on for the sake of his career, He can be a proper PL midfielder.

He is. He's the best on the ball in our midfield, Always was after Gerrard left.

Allen should definitely be starting. The weird thing is that he possesses everything that you would think Klopp would want in his midfield. He's tenacious, intelligent, good in tight spaces, knows where to pass before he has the ball and has a good first touch. He is adventurous but knows when to take a tactical foul (just look today when he saved Liverpool from Afellay).
Maybe Klopp doesn't like his beard, because as far as I'm concerned he's been easily the best midfielder (probably best player) under Klopp in his small time he's been given.

Somewhat desperate of Palace to sign Adebayor, although it's only until the end of the season, so no risk. Maybe it will work out, we'll see, they really are just a good striker short of a good attack, imo. Wickham, Gayle, Campbell and Chamack just doesn't cut it.

Ogbonna on England/EPL :
West Ham United defender Angelo Ogbonna believes there’s “less pressure” in England compared to Italy.
The centre-back moved to the Hammers from Juventus this summer, and spoke to the Italian society at King’s College London yesterday.
“Everything is more relaxed,” Ogbonna explained, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.
“There isn’t the pressure of Serie A. We [Italians] work more though, training sessions every day and double sessions once a week, whereas here we often rest on Wednesday.
“Difficulties? The language. Although I have Nigerian roots, I’ve always been in Italy. The other thing that makes me think is the less sociable nature of the British. It’s not easy to establish human relationships.”

I'd say that's more to do with playing for West Ham tbh

Hoping that Everton reach the League Cup final tonight, by the way, would be fantastic to meet them in a cup final. At least in my eyes would add a little value to winning this season's League Cup if we could beat Everton in the final.

Yes, because City has been a terrifying proposition for us of late.

Yeah, I'm not scared of City, they haven't been anything special this season. Having Liverpool v Everton for a cup final would just feel epic.

Lol. Liverpool fans getting cocky over Man City after one result. They haven't been special but neither have you and the fact remains that they have far, far more quality than you guys.
You did have a good result, but that doesn't mean you have their number lol

We've beat them 3 of the last 4 times we've played them and the one they won was a very close game at the Etihad. Meanwhile we made them look absolutely awful the last time out.
Obviously they have more quality than Everton but Klopp's style is a foil to theirs and matches up better since they play a much more open and less defensive game.

Feel bad for Everton, they're going out on a deflected shot, potentially offside header, and goal after Sterling dribbled it out of play.
All three goals were very unlucky.

Meh. Other than Barkley's solo goal they didn't create anything.
City hit the woodwork twice, had huge chances etc.
Well deserved by now.

City have been the better side by a distance, but it's still shocking officiating not to have spotted that Sterling ran the ball out of play before he set-up De Bruyne's goal.

You see some of the worse bit of refereeing in this league, Sterling clearly overran the ball and the ref was a few yards away yet he didn't see it

if we dont win this trophy this season, considering we have the final against our favourite opponent, I would stop cheering for Klopp.

You guys seem very confident, I don't know why. If anything Man City are favorite.

Cutinho will be back for the final
That Coutinho-Firminho partnership
If Sturridge is on the bench
Who knows when we will play final again
So time to celebrate Wembley appearance instead of worrying about ManCity.
