can you imagine Neville getting sacked after 2 months? he is not contributing to anything for Valencia anyway

Last time Betis won was in December. If Valencia dont sack him now they will get relegated

Valencia 2-0 down and now a man down against the worst side in the league as of late. Neville is a dead man walking, surely.

Can only mean the players play against him. The way Parejo kept giving the ball away 20 meters in front of their own goal against Barca was pretty alarming.

Neville really need to get out of Valencia. Nothing is working out for him and they are surely doing incredibly worse than before.

have not won a single la liga game
hasnt not had the lead in a single game
was first to concede on 9 for 9 games

It always was going to be a steep challenge, and it could be called hybris from him to think he coud just deal with a job like that from nothing.

It's tough to come from england without speaking the language in a completely different football culture and to have a group of guys buy into you.

So much of being a coach is about communicating to your players, idle conversations here and there etc... If you cant communicate, how do you coach? Not to say that it's impossible or it hasnt been done before, but language barrier can be unsurmountable at times. It feels like it in this situation.

Neville is a young coach, he has so much to learn, and he cant even pull Parejo, Andre Gomes or Alcacer aside and have a 1v1 power chat with them. He cant, and they are his leaders.

I was joking to my friends, he probably made Negredo captain because he knows a little bit of english, and regarding the GK struggle they have, Ryan is also getting the nod because he "speaks" english, Neville can talk to him, not to the other gks

The thing for him is that this stint as manager is destroying whatever credibility he has. I'm not sure he can find another job quickly should he be sacked, and even if he returned to Sky as a pundit he'll have these few months over his head.

Oh they will I expect it. They didn't give him time to buy his own players and bed them in will be another one used.

shambolic club management, they gave him no chance, no time, he doesnt have a top squad to compete with real barca etc..., players power in the dressing room, etc...

Valencia deserve this tbh. Sacking Emery after he guaranteed them 4th every single season, sacking Nuno 1 season after he got them their most ever point tally or something like that, playing hardball when selling us Mathieu ...
