Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
He's ready to reject Conte and million at Chelsea and pressing to join US because he loved it here and wants to return to the 'family', Milan is no danger to us.

I see Montella as a threat tbh.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
He seems happy here.We helped him out after a difficult time at Chelsea. He's doing great here for us ,the team is united like a family and he is adapted to living in Italy.
If he wants to stay there's no way Chelsea can refuse,no one would like to have a unhappy player.
I don't think we have threats in Milan or Inter,no matter how much they offer, the player is already wanted by the best italian team so there is no point for him to leave.
Keeping Cuadrado would be another top move for us this summer.

Pjaca can play as a LW and support striker.

Juventus are back for Cuadrado. Today they'll make a new offer to Chelsea: 3m-4m for a season long loan. #SkyItalia
Cuadrado's agent, Alessandro Lucci, will present the offer to Chelsea. He will work on bringing Cuadrado back to Turin. #SkyItalia

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
So I guess 4-3-3 it is then not 4-3-1-2 as our second formation. Cuadrado will back up Alves in the 3-5-2 and then start on RW in the 4-3-3.
Cuadrado Higuain Pjaca
This will give Dybala rest when needed. Or switch depending on opponent. This makes sense tactically as it is what we played last year so we do have some continuity. Also makes sense as Pjaca is strongest on the wing as opposed to an SS or a CAM.
I'm assuming there will never be a 4-3-1-2 now given that Pjanic will be a full time regista and the only other semi CAM was Pererya who is now gone.
So one midfielder left then. Looks like it could be Matuidi. If we play him on the left as a DM then he would slot well with Khedira/Lemina on the right.
So Cuadrado and Matuidi. Is that enough for Champions League glory?

Agreed gigi. If the Cuadrado move happens, and with Pereyra gone, it seems that a 4-3-3 would become our plan B. Although Allegri did say that Pjaca could play as an AM also. I love Cuadrado, I was always supporting him this season, but minutes are gonna be even more limited with Pjaca and Alves in the mix. Allegri needs to do some heavy rotation to keep them all happy.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
I think fans had good reasons to be concerned about
because some important players were gone and the injuries
but if you think about the transfers in and some players coming back from injuries you can say most of problems has been addressed
with Cuadrado back I think its really good news and coach can improvise on ways it may not make sense but it works

True. I think Asamoah and Lemina are 2 players we should be excited to see and consider them as new signings. I am happy that Asamoah finally played the full preseason without getting injured
Hopefully Lemina will explode this season too and prove to us why Juve rejected the bids for him.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
yeah that's my point
I mean if there are super-talents out there I don't mind if we take them , i mean WHY NOT?
we used to have guys like Del Piero, Trezeguet and we still was after guys like Ibrahimovic, Mutu
but my point is that we are not really desperate for new transfers and to overpay for new transfers because we can improvise somehow

Supposedly Conte wanted to keep him absolutely, wonder what make him change his mind
Anyway, i won't complain at all if Cuadrado comes back.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
I think the fact that we have 6 wingers for 2 spots.
Two had to go, and Moses has probably forced his way into the team like no one would have thought. Hazard and Willian are our last two players of the year so they have spots on lock, which meant it was between Pedro and Cuadrado, and either Pedro is better in the eyes of Conte OR Cuadrado is easier to offload.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
I guess it's a win-win situation then. Marotta the Lord of the Loans
Victor Moses making the team is a big surprise (i just learned it from you and did not even know he was still a Chelsea player)... but could it be nothing but a good streak ? It's quite bizarre that Conte has the colombian at the bottom of his list, and under Moses on top of that.
The fact that Cuadrado claimed he wants to stay in Turin might be the most important factor in this process. At the end of the day, it's a tough decision to keep someone against their will, even more so if he's not a key element of the squad.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
Moses has brings workrate drive and width to the team, plus he can play on both wings and is homegrown. I'm not overly surprised he's made the squad, he has always been a pre-season god, too.
I think it's down to Cuadrado being easier to get rid of and wants out, as opposed to Pedro.

There are no reports suggesting an option to buy on the loan.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
Cuadrado is expected to join Juventus in the beginning of next week. His agent is working on finalizing a deal with Chelsea. #GdS
He is coming back
Even if it's just a dry loan I don't care. He is simply an awesome bench option to have. A supersub to be more precise.
Would be a gem of a signing. Damn we stacked now. Only need a midfielder and we ready to go.

the thing is that this signing along with Pjaca makes us unpredictable.

Haha I think Marrota's plan is to to get Cuadrado on cheap in the end as his contract end comes closer

that would be such a stupid plan, we would have spent 20m on him on loans instead of buying him and paying loan fees every year
