We're working hard and playing well as a team but some individual mistakes like giving silly ball away have given Dortmund many chances. Need to realize we won't get too much time on the ball. This Dortmund team presses like crazy.

Both teams are playing well. More goals to come from either side I think.

A good half, although we rode our luck a couple of times. Origi took his goal really well, though.

Coutinho and Can are having bad games. We really need Lallana and Cou to drop deeper, struggling to get past that midfield while we have Cou, Origi and Lallana standing way up front.

Sakho with some massive moments - but he always looks / is so error prone. That tackle on Reus that resulted in a free-kick where he had a whole week to get to the ball, but missed it

I hope we don't sit back and try to hold out in the 2nd half. I don't mind us playing counter but we cant just try to defend the 2nd half.

How shit is this Castro guy!? And Mktharian for all the hype and attention hes getting recently has been pretty meh. Weigl is basically a one man midfield and he looks an unbelievable talent. Auba need to get his shit together in the 2nd half.

However even if Liverpool go and win this game by this scoreline BVB can still get back in the tie as Pool with their style of play will always present you chances. So tie wont be over I repeat tie wont be over here unless pool score a couple more.

Well, I suppose both teams can feel a little disappointed for not having scored a second goal. It's nicely in the balance.

Good result. Would have taken at the start. I was fearing for the worst but at least we're in it going back home.

Gud result of Liverpool I suppose. BTW it was best defending by Liverpool this season imo

a 2-2 draw would have been better. Because I certainly expect Dortmund to score one goal at Anfield, so when Dortmund score one, we need Firmino and Coutinho to be at their best to win that game at Anfield.

This is the best result Klopp could have hoped for, 1-1 and now he can enjoy Dortmund at peace.

A little disappointed in the result after the run of play to be honest. Liverpool really should have done better with the chances they had.

However before the game I would have been delighted with a draw, and still am. Especially with the away goal...but the home match is going to be insanely nervy.

Sadly couldn't watch any football this week. But I watched bits of the game now and it looks like Liverpool were pretty strong and asserted themselves on the pitch.
