Art Morte wrote:A boring game, but perhaps predictably so. Madrid have the excuse of not having Ronaldo and only a semi-fit Benzema. I suppose it made sense for them to play it cautious. But City needed to play braver. They basically banked on matching Real Madrid in Spain. That's just not going to happen.rwo power wrote:No fun today I hope tomorrow will be more exciting.
You ok? Both goalkeepers kept a clean sheet
I think City relied on 'Madrid will play more open game' but they did not. I think even in Madird, they will have similar tactics. Toure will be back for that one, it is a good thing and bad thing, both for City. But I think Toure can be the player who can bring more bravery to their game. Silva also needs to be back for that game.

Re: Champions league SF: Real Madrid Vs Manchester City
Didn't expect a lot from City obviously but wow that was pathetic
Obviously terrible game from Madrid and overall aswell but how can City play like that at home when they have the opportunity of playing against Real without the Kommander and even at home.
4 shots, 1 on target. City pls never change

I hoped for more than 2 great saves from Joe Hart and one from Keylor Navas. I mean, look at the attacking players - and still the goalies didn't actually have that much to doHelmer wrote:You ok? Both goalkeepers kept a clean sheetrwo power wrote:No fun today I hope tomorrow will be more exciting.

I think I remembered something against KDB or so. It might have been wishful thinking, though.Freeza wrote:Did Navas even have a save?

He saved a freekick in stoppage time. City's only shot on target, I believe it wasFreeza wrote:Did Navas even have a save?rwo power wrote:I hoped for more than 2 great saves from Joe Hart and one from Keylor Navas. I don't cry over Barca going out. They didnt get as easy of a path to the semis as Madrid with Peresito's the whisperer magical, sticky hands. Also, nobody has won the thing twice in a row and that says something
Still Barca will win a double and Madrid will walk away with nothing in the end

I will always support the team that at least attempts to play football in every match.
Not sure what that was in the Madrid-City match. Not to mention Mou era Madrid

Casemiro has proven himself to be an adept replacement for Benz.

Casemiro out. Honestly feel that he is currently more important than and Dmzema.
Looking forward to Modric running like a madman to make up for Casemiro and Kroos trying to not get his shirt dirty tomorrow.

Having Isco start is bad news for City. Imagine Fernando and Fernandinho kicking air while he runs right past with the ball glued to his feet
