Tammy Abraham looks like a very untalented Adebayor

Re: The Three Lions
I was just telling my brother that he reminded me of a young Adebayor All legs, zero grace.
Germany made a lot of good chances in the first half. Feels a more even game in the second.

He's really good, be interested to see where he goes next season. Honestly Chelsea could do a lot worse than just bringing him back.

Re: The Three Lions
England manager Gareth Southgate has named four uncapped players in his 27-man squad to face the Netherlands and Italy on 23 and 27 March.
Burnley's James Tarkowski and Nick Pope, plus Swansea defender Alfie Mawson and Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook have all been included.

Re: The Three Lions
A question for my English fans
England in Euro 2004
Is this the best England of last 20 years for you ?
It looks like impressive. Many players in their prime, Rooney 19 years who was a beast ( the teetotalers might build a political campaign posting his old video ffs )
If I compare with now lol

Re: The Three Lions
The only team in the last 20 years that runs it close is the 2006 team - just swap out Campbell for Ferdinand, Scholes for Joe Cole and Owen for anyone who could run without getting injured.
That era was the biggest waste of talent in English football, imo. The farce around Gerrard and Lampard in midfield and the mis-use of Scholes still triggers me to this day.
Btw, Southgate is name his 23-man squad on Wednesday. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ryan Sessegnon and Jadon Sancho are being considered apparently.

Re: The Three Lions
2002 England World Cup was the best performance. Unlucky to meet Brazil in the quarters, any other team (except for South Korea+corrupt refs maybe) and they would make semis.

Lucky 96 was 22 years ago, otherwise that would be an option for the best in recent times.

Re: The Three Lions
Pickford
Walker - Stones - Gomez - ???(Danny Rose?!)
Wilshere - Henderson - ????(would have been Ox but he is injured)
Ali - Kane - Sterling
Missing a midfielder and a left back. Need proper PL experts to put that in for me.
