Typical Barca under Enrique. Very poor playing out from the back and thus susceptible to a high press, but once they break the press they are frightening in attack, some brilliant moves so far.

The front 3 have all played very well.

cannot expect Dennis Rakitic and busi toi control the game tbh.

Great goal, but another bad giveaway from Busquets. He needs to get it together

Cosmically, both Busquets and Suarez deserve a yellow card every second they are on the pitch.
Factually that yellow for Busquets was a terrible decision.

Ter Scruben, that one terrible pass aside, has been good. His passing has been on point otherwise and he's dealt very well with the shots that have come at him. In these conditions it would be easy to spill the ball accidentally but he's had a good grip and good positioning.

Umtiti. Who would have thought the guy I bought for my FIFA 13 West Bromwich Albion save would be playing for Barca just a couple years later? Incredible foresight by FIFA and the sites I searched to find young CB's with high potential.

Why do players still get yellows for dissent? I don't understand it. It's the most stupid thing. Just shut up and get on with it--a little bit of talk is fine, but if you've talked yourself into a yellow, you're an idiot.

At least Athletic is actually putting in a good shift. Thought they would have just gotten steamrolled.

first time in a loooooong time since we've been so dominant in aerial balls.. weird to see

rakitic is doing great this game not because he scored but just overall.. carrying the ball and holding well
ref is terrible.. referees shouldn't demand attention, guy looks like he loves being on TV and still gets the calls wrong

eh this guy has given real madrid terrible calls in the past as-well but somehow is one of the top refs for la liga

Alba passing back to Umtiti all the time. this guy is a total scrub. He literally has nothing to boast about when Barça go under pressure.

Umtiti looks like a really good signing though. He's surprised me so far with his physicality but also looks confident enough on the ball.

Alba is getting destroyed by Inaki. Turan is doing little to help him out as well.

I wouldn't say Alba is getting destroyed tbh. but if things go on like first half Alba will surely deliver Inaki's child after 9 months

Suarez looks a bit off form. Only means he will score a scrubby AF goal soon

So, how many league goals will DMessi score this season? 12? 14?

He has to drop deep all the time because the midfield are finding it hard to escape Bilbao's pressure. Credit to Bilbao for this. Barca probably won't face a more difficult match than this all season.
