Think we'll sign Matuidi too tbh.
Wonder how much Raiola is worth. Man is a shrewd businessman.

Signing Matuinho = Pogba DM confirmed I would say Matuidi is the single big reason France havent been able to get the best out of Pogba.
Congrats on your 170M DM. First of its kind.

Apparently Wanda has been promised a prominent role in De Laurentiis's upcoming movie. That should clinch the deal...

It would be good news for France if Man U sign Matuidi tbh... Pogba would get used to playing on the right. The biggest issue for France is that Pogba doesn't have time to get acclimated to that role since he never plays it. He can do it no problem. Just needs time there. Ibra dezones so much that Pogba will have plenty of chances to make runs.
It will be interesting. Completely different role for Pogba.

Nah the biggest issue is he's not allowed the freedom and it's a waste of time lol.
No point trying to think it would work lol.

I somewhat agree but signing a player for a world record fee only to not play him in his favourable position is a bit off
Then again, you have Rooney running around in the midfield like prime Xavi for god knows what reason. If Higuain decides he wants to play as a left back, I'll let you know how quickly that fee is rescinded.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Pogba can do it though... no problem. His issue with France was that he was more concerned with helping Rami defensively early on... and then Sissoko was having a lot of success making runs so he let him continue. He sacrificed for the team. It's to his credit really. BUT, i blame Deschamps for not recognizing that Pogba needs to be freed up as opposed to using him as a guy who compensates for everyone else. Granted, he tried to put Matuidi on the right and it was a disaster. He didn't have to play Matuidi though... he could have easily played Kante on the right and benched Matuidi. But politically, that wasn't going to go over well with the French fans. That's on the manager.
At Man U, even on the right, I expect to be freed up to do his thing.

It's a result of playing so deep, doesn't matter if he's on the left or the right he's going to be restricted.
That won't change for any other manager or any other team if he's forced to play there, he needs to play in a midfield 3 where there's at least one guy doing the dirty work for him like at Juventus.
Delusional to think it will be alright if he's forced to play in that position.

I think it will be alright but you certainly will not be witnessing a player worthy of a world record fee. If you're paying that kind of money I really don't understand not trying to get the best out of the player. Pogba in a double pivot = not the best from him.

From a footballing standpoint, joining Utd is obviously a really stupid idea from Pogba. They are a club that's going nowhere fast.
He should be joining Real, but then United are overpaying so hard, guess these are wages he can't refuse

Lol.
Funny that people can't see the reality, if he joins then they clearly will be going somewhere fast.
Thinking a club that can spend 140m on one player is going nowhere is just ridiculously hilarious.
A team with Pogba, Zlatan, Shaw, Smalling, Darmian, De Gea, Mkhitaryan and Martial in it is going somewhere and it isn't backwards lol.

This is because Napoli is a circus
The De Laurentiis "movies" are a trash
Anyway if we are coherent with what we said so far, they can also offer the moon to Icardi \ Wanda ... but we decide.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Vieira played very low for Arsenal but managed to pick his spots and nobody is going to ever say that he wasn't hugely impactful. Could he have been more attacking like Pogba was at Juve? Of course. But Arsenal needed him to play that relay role mostly. They already have Pires, Henry, Bergkamp, Ljungberg, Reyes, etc. on the attack.
Pogba just has to get used to it. He will. His first couple of years at Juve, Vidal was the more attacking CM and it didn't bother Pogba much. In fact, I preferred him when he was a little lower. He played simpler.

Tolisso has talent. He had a rough year though last season after a very promising one the year before. He could be a very good pickup at DM.

Now he has a taste for it though
The dabs, the attention, the wonder goals, the Number 10. Ain't no way he happily sacrifices the limelight for long. If he was that much of a team player in the first place he'd just ask for a pay rise here and stay with a superior team.

They're going to be relevant either way but this Man U team is very eerily reminding me of early 2000s Madrid's team of galacticos that garnered a lot of hype but dint achieve much on a sporting level.

How do you know he didn't? It's not the pay raise only though. He gets 20% of the transfer fee that Juve get + 50% of Raiola's fees according to rumors. So a big transfer like this may put 40 mil in his pocket aside from the wages. He can't turn away from that.

You can't honestly tell me the Pogba of today looks like he's going to sit back and smile whilst half of his team get more chances to be in the limelight than he does.
No way he happily takes up a conservative role. Plodding along and keeping it simple. If he's not given most of the freedom he's accustomed to having now then he's going to throw a tantrum. Especially when the media do what the media does and blame him despite being played in the wrong way for all the failings because of the price tag.

How come we have 'rumours' about the finer details in Pogbas contract such as percentages of transfer fees, but you assume some big news such as Pogba rejecting a contract wouldn't have surfaced?
If your percentages are true, then they sure as hell would have reported any rejected contract offers too. No way that goes under the radar but all of these percentages got leaked.
Pick one of the other imo.
