How the *bleep* do you lose a two legged tie against Gent
This is actually really a disgrace and we should not let Pochettino get away with this stuff with his reputation intact

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Embarrassing day for two quality teams in the form of Fiorentina and Spurs.
Embarrassing for Fiorentina because its Gladbach? Absolutely not as they are a commendable team with a strong coach but the fashion in which they lost deserve the maldito thrown at their buses.
Embarrassing for Spurs because they lost to a team called Gentks

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Both Fiorentina and Gladbach unlucky in their own individual ways throughout both ties. Great respect between both teams and coaches it is obvious but shame on Viola for bottling what was theirs and in the Franchi. Deserved winner? Yes.
Both teams showed their best and their worst.
Brilliant tie.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Germans vs Italians is not just a great tie on the international level as even on club level.
Recent ones from the top of my mind that were greats were
Lazio v Leverkusen
Bayern v Juventus
This tie
and one very similar to this in the form of Werder Bremen v Sampdoria.
Always ones to look out for between the two nations.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
These scrubby PL teams go out on purpose, None of them want to win. They just want to qualify every year.
Need Liverpool back in Europe asap

I'd take a great historic club like Ajax in a heartbeat. Werder Bremen can go the other way for all I care.
@elfmeter will not be happy but I'm willing to trade Eredivisie one Werder Bremen. You'd have no trouble qualifying for CL in BuLi either.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Can't perform in the UCL, can't perform in Europa, what's the point of Tottenham trying to reach top 4?

Surely the better question is what is the point in Tottenham existing?

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
They couldn't beat Gent. They finished below Leverkusen and I bet they'll find a way to finish below Arsenal. Some poster(s) have the nerve to think Poch is some sort of "good" manager. Shameful, just shameful.
