I probably play my PS4 more than most people and have never come close to fillling up the 500GB, but then I will never be playing more than 4-5 games in any 2-3 month period, I usually delete a game from my HD when I finish it/know I won't play it for months.

Yeah, my 500GB Xbox One is enough for me since I also delete games when I'm finished with them or know I won't be playing them for awhile, there's just no point in keeping them on there.

Though in my case I have pretty fast and unlimited internet, so I can download a 40GB+ game very quickly and at will. Many people will probably not be as lucky as me so a 1TB HD would be recommended just to avoid having to waste valuable time and data on downloading a game more than once.

I have 250/150mbit fibre at home. It's still a hassle having to delete and download games. I want to be able to purchase digital games, updates and DLC without having to worry about the HD capacity and having to figure out which games to sacrifice to make space for new ones. Also, PS4 seems to restrict download speeds.

If you'll only be playing games such as FIFA, then HD capacity won't be a problem. I've come to realize that most people on this forum don't usually purchase DLCs like I tend to do, which is probably why some of my games take up like, 70-100gigs of space with all of their additional content.

Oh i thought you were talking about a PS4 slim 500gb vs PS4 slim 1tb as i'm sure they do those.

In that case go with the Slim 500gb as it doesn't sound like you would really see a need for the graphics and performance bump the Pro is aimed at.

I said this before, sony are going to cancel normal ps4 production within a year or so. They want to promote pro so all the deals will be on pro.

You won't go wrong with either BC but 1TB is probably better. Although it doesn't seem like you are a heavy gamer.

This is wrong btw, they consider it all the same thing. Which is why they have made such a big deal out of being able to play the same games no matter what you have and also why they made the PS4 slim with a price drop.

PS4 slim or PS4 pro they don't care, it all contributes to same overarching PS4 eco system to them. The original PS4 they might but the Slim will be there until the PS5 is a thing.
