Multiple WWE sources have confirmed that Mickie James has signed a multi-year deal with the company.

Currently, the plan is for James to appear on the Smackdown brand, likely debuting in January 2017.

The former WWE Women's champion returned to the company for the first time in six years at the WWE NXT Takeover event in Toronto, losing a great match to Asuka. From the second she arrived in Toronto, internally it wa considered just a matter of time before the company locked her into a deal again.

James, 37, had a great run with WWE including a tremendous Wrestlemania 21 bout against Trish Stratus. Since leaving WWE, she has recorded a country album, began work on a second, married former TNA champion Nick "Magnus" Aldis, gave birth to their son and has worked consistently in TNA and around the world on independents, including Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore.

There was a minor shakeup in WWE creative today. Tom Casiello, the managing lead writer, who oversaw the Raw & Smackdown writing teams, was let go. He was a key person who was very influential in the push of the women of late.

Dunno, i get the feeling ( don't actually watch it to know) but i get the feeling the popularity of the Bullet Club has took a nose dive since AJ, Gallows and Anderson went to WWE. ( Nakamura being one of the guys resisting against them probably is a contributing factor as well)

Just feels like they have fallen in the same NWO trap of adding people constantly until it got stale.

It doesn't help that they basically have a different Bullet Club in like 3 different organisations.

Maybe facing Reigns is WWE's way of getting Strowman cheered. Plus the main event will be Cena/Taker or Goldberg/Lesnar imo.

Not just that but Strowman would be going from smashing jobbers on Raw to all of a sudden wrestling for the main belt. They are going to be make the same mistake with him like they did with Reigns a couple of yrs back.
No one is going to dig a Reigns-Strowman main event/semi main event. It sounds so bland already just from the outset.

Most of us have tbh, i don't have a problem with Strowman really it's Reigns i have the issue with lol.

In their warped minds they think Reigns being the one to beat the big, unbeatable monster helps him get over lol.

I have accepted Reigns and Strowman will be part of the show since Survivor Series, what i don't want is it for the Universal title IMO.

What i want for that is Jericho vs Owens, mainly because it's a long-term storyline which actually has some backstory and potentially some pay off at the end.

Nothing Reigns and Strowman can match that storyline wise as it will just be " CAN REIGNS TOPPLE THE MOUNTAIN OF A MAN MAGGLE !?!?! "

Is Wrestling observer newsletter reliable? They say Styles-Cena will happen again either at Rumble or Mania. How boring would it be to see another clean Cena victory. And seeing Cena's busy non wwe schedule next year, I'm definitely not hopeful of him turning heel. Mostly will win the  16th and then drop the belt at the next ppv after Mania or something.
