Summer 2017 confirmed transfers and contracts

FC Bayern have completed the signings of Niklas Süle (21) and Sebastian Rudy (26) from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. The two Germany internationals will join the German record champions on 1 July 2017. Sebastian Rudy signed a three-year contract binding him to the club until 30 June 2020, whereas Süle put his name to a five-year contract until 30 June 2022.
FC Bayern München AG chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge commented: "We're very satisfied and delighted Niklas Süle and Sebastian Rudy are joining us. Signing two Germany internationals is an investment in FC Bayern's future. Sebastian Rudy joins us on a free transfer. In the case of Niklas Süle we have reached a fair and serious agreement with TSG Hoffenheim."
"It's an absolute dream for me to go to Munich. FC Bayern are one of the greatest clubs in the world," said Rudy. "In terms of it being a farewell I feel a little wistful too," declared Hoffenheim's home-grown talent Süle, but also pointed to the great chance of "maturing further with one of the best teams in the world."

What's the fee for Suele? When we were linked to him it was reported that Hoffenheim asked 30M pounds.

For abroad clubs it's 30M , for Bayern it's 10M. So basically they got both for a combined fee of €20M.

Why? If the asking price in summer was 30m £, 20m € next summer isn't that far off.
1. 30m £ = 35m €
2. what Hoffenheim 'ask for' isn't what they end up getting
3. one year later -> one year less contract (only until 2019 left) -> lower fee.
Let's say the fee ends up being 25m €, no need for bitching around from you.

How ironic is it that Bayern and Barca used to have 7/8 players from the academy in their starting XI a few years ago and now Chelsea and Madrid that they used to mock are giving them lessons in how to make additions to the first team without overspending but trusting academy players and loanies.

We have still go many Academy players - Lahm to Muller to Alaba to Badstuber.
Sule is on 20M. I heard he has a 20M clause. Rudy is on a free. Sule wants to join Bayern badly & we will pay that clause.
