Shoot promos, entertaining storylines and great matches ( which I still maintain matters as there's zero point in watching PPVs otherwise)
Not sure about worked shoots, but yeh, it's definitely possible to have great storylines/characters along with great matches. But in a TV show format, the foundation and fundamental aspect of the show would be the characters/storylines. That's what they should emphasise the most and it's what everything should be built on. Said it before, but imo the match is simply a tool to resolve conflict and progress a story. It's like a war or fight in a TV show, meaningless without a story/characters to back it up.
In a TV show format, worked shoots wouldn't really be as effective as they are now. For example with Breaking Bad, you don't watch to see Walt bitching about x character's backstage antics. You watch because he's an entertaining character and because of the story. I don't know, maybe with it being wrestling in small doses it could work, but the priority should be actual storylines imo.
Right now we're in the reality era. The characters are all regular everyday relatable people. Worked shoots are common and the emphasis is on in ring ability/delivering 5* star matches. The transition to the TV show format era would change all of that. The reason why the reality era came about was because the WWE were coasting along with no apparent direction. Internet fans took advantage of that and made their voices heard. It was all very reactive. Transitioning to a TV show format would be a proactive move.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 32
Goldberg with that 10k calories a day diet. 6 mass gainer shakes everyday.
Shakes are the same. I’m going four scoops of super-gainer Muscle Milk powder. Like, gnarly amounts of protein. Some branched-chain amino acids. A banana in each shake. Six to seven strawberries, a little bit of honey, some oatmeal powder, and a little bit of peanut butter powder. You know, after making four to six of those a day, I don’t know if I ever want to have peanut butter again.
“Well, the first breakfast I had today, I had six servings of oatmeal, 20 blueberries, and a couple tablespoons of honey on it. Then I trained. Afterwards, I had twelve eggs with two yolks, six pieces of bacon, four pieces of gluten-free toast with avocado. Then a shake. After that I had two gluten-free pizzas with loads and loads of hamburger meat for protein on top of it. Then another shake. My son and I are about to go to Muay Thai, but on the way we’re going to have some pho. Some soup and noodles, some shrimp. Then I’ll do some training at Muay Thai and on the way home we’ll get some pho again for dinner, because the wife hasn’t eaten it yet today. Then I’ll do the family thing, and then I’ll eat again. I don’t know what I’ll have this evening. Probably… I don’t know. I do this meal service called Regiment Meals, and they’ve helped me out tremendously because one of the biggest issues is food preparation.”

Hardy's beat Young Bucks to become ROH tag champions. Guessing they'll lose the titles back to them at next months PPV before returning to WWE.

Probably just a temporary swerve imo. A few indy guys did some ROH shows before joining WWE.

It doesn't mean anything.
They are facing the Young Bucks the night before WM anyway.
This way you can get more eyes on that event, get more dates out of the Hardys actually build towards a rematch where the Young Bucks win.
Until someone legit comes out and say they are signing with ROH long term i'm assuming they are losing to Young Bucks and then appearing at WM the next night.

The next ROH PPV is on WM weekend where they face the Young Bucks, so yeh, can see it being temporary to bide time until WM is over.

Bray vs Orton the main event, Bray retains. Hardy's confront him to end the show.
Or Reigns/Taker, with Reigns turning heel.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 32
I have thought about this and unless changes significantly Matt needs to be on Smackdown, mainly because they allow a lot more creative freedom on that show. Mainly due to it not having Reigns on it, it's not the " Flagship" show and thus not built around all the sponsor BS so Vince allows a lot more.
I can see his creativity be significantly stunted if he's on RAW, Jeff would be fine on RAW but Matt's gimmick would flop on RAW imo.

Btw one of the biggest dream matches of the last ten years is happening in two days.
Winner faces Bray Wyatt.

Can't wait to see how they screw AJ, because it's blatantly happening.
As long as the story being told is good i'm fine with it. Also i'm a bit mixed on it happening on Smackdown btw, mainly because ads ruin these matches for me.

Why they changed AJ's pciture? This was his normal picture

You can tell its heelish by nature, but that picture doesn't strike me as heelish...possible face turn?

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 32
I genuinely think this Shane screwing him out of WM stuff is definitely being designed as a post WM face turn.
I'm genuinely concerned by it as i enjoy his character as a heel, we'll see i suppose.

Remember when everyone wanted Rollins to be a face after he came back from injury? How'd that turn out? Sometimes its just best to leave him as heel/face, if it ain't broke then don't fix it

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 32
I still feel Rollins failed because they didn't commit to it, it was so half hearted.
Also it didn't help that the person who turned him wasn't on TV for months, i started to enjoy him as a face when HHH came back and then he got injured....
