Very fast, physically imposing, good at eliminating defenders but his finishing is terrible. Great potential overall.

Caen is on fire lately with these talented young players: Kante, Lemar, Karamoh..

City is still another CB, DM, and forward away from being a machine. They'll probably sign another forward (Sanchez pls) and another CB (Van Dijk?) this summer.

As for DM there haven't been any links. Judging by preseason it looks like Toure will be made the DM with Walker and Mendy cutting inside and doing the running for him.

Which is kind of weird because Mendy and Walker are your typical hug the touchline fullbacks. It'll be interesting to see how that works out.

Walker can do both actually. He cuts inside multiple times per game for Tottenham and is technically adept enough to pull it off. I'm not saying the guy is a technical monster, but he's underrated technically. People have just gotten it in their head that he's a pace merchant and therefore has no touch, but he's actually quite decent on the ball. He isn't really one to take on a player 1v1 through dribbling, but can he cut inside and find a decent pass or link up without losing the ball? Can he hold onto the ball while cutting into the midfield without being a threat to the backline? Yeah, he does it a lot for Spurs.

He hugs the touchline more for Spurs because that's the system (and no doubt at times he will be expected to play this role for Pep as well), but he can still cut inside. Man City and Pep wouldn't have wanted him if he didn't expect that Walker could potentially fulfill this role. He's not Alaba, but he's not some jobber like Bellerin either.

Can't comment on Mendy tho

People acting like spending 130m on three starter quality fullbacks is ridiculous. It is, if you are impeded by money. City aren't. When are people going to start approaching City signings like they're 50m pound signings are closer in impact to their bank account to 10m pound signings. Mole has said it himself, City start with 50m and go from there Laughing
