He left to get paid, doubled his salary ffs. Makes me remember that this sport often has not much to do with sport.

Milan is going heavy for the EL it seems

It wasn't unexpected imo, had 1X. Samp are very solid and playing at home. They were too unlucky not to win vs Verona last match. All their results have been good. Their midfield is really strong, now they are missing a Muriel to score more like last year.

Montella is one of my favorite players ever. Definitely my favorite Roma player.....but I'm getting a distinct feeling the task of molding 200m worth of players may just be a bit much for him tactically.

It's still early days and this team needs a lot of time to gel, but tactically they should at least be starting to show signs they understand what he wants from them by now. Not sure that's happening or if it's just really really gradual, but that's worrying either way.

As Rincon said, Samp are a tough nut to crack at home.....well I think for everyone not named Juve that is.

Milan really don't look like Montella has any clue what his first 11 is or what the attacking movements are or anything.

Tbf to Montella I don't think the team is well built in terms of "fit" between the players. Its what I was saying in those long posts with Dante.

Looking at the squad really doesn't tell you much about how they should play. There is no LW for the 4-3-3. No room for Suso to be effective in the 3-5-2. No defined role for Calhanoglu to shine when he plays. Andre Silva no playing enough. 4 CFs. Lack of a fast passing player in the mold of eternal target Badelj.

Thee squad needs this season to find clarity and then next summer to tune it properly.

You should know better than to talk about Milan with such negativity and malice. Top 2 finish for sure. Laughing

Shame that Dante/Giancarlo disappeared after Lazio battered them

That Inter goal is a certainty at this point. Been knocking on Genoa's door steadily from minute 1.

Brozovic corner just now was garbage though.

Dybala isn’t a striker hmm

I’d say it’s Immobile, Dzeko, Mertens

Belotti and Higuain starting slowly
