It's not really that, it's that Spurs are a slow team and Wembley has a big pitch so it's easy to defend against.

If City or Yanited played at Wembley i doubt they'd have any issues.

It's the same reason why Spurs always struggle against us because our pitch size is the same as Wembley's. Basically if you have a big pitch and don't use the width of it properly you are going to struggle.

Basically Spurs had like 30% possession in their home, BVB had one goal and two 1v1 counters stolen from them, and Spurs got lucky in that the only two times they got out of their own half in the first 45 minutes, they scored. Not to mention a foul by Kane preceded his 2-1.

I was slaughtered when I was of the opinion that they should have gone for both Europa League and EPL in that season but they completely ignored EL. That was such an easy chance to reach the final in that season (I guess it was the season when Leicester won the league). That was such a stupid and naive decision from Spurs. And they have not won a single trophy under Poc and they never will. People here always come up with excuses for Spurs when they mess it up.

Kane is wasting his time there and he should join Barcelona replacing Suarez or PSG replacing Cavani or Madrid replacing Benzema. Hopefully Levy doesnt sell him to another EPL team.

Nah they won't win anything major because they lack creativity and players to stretch defenses.

What's more is unless they get really lucky they don't have the prestige or money to attract that type of player.
