Well I guess we wanted to see Xhaka in a 3-man midfield, so today will tell us a lot about whether he is actually worth something or not.

Shame it's Coquelin and not Wilshere. But Coquelin is starting to do the running for Xhaka so there is that.

Hard to shake the feeling that we'll look surprisingly good for 10-15 min and then concede first on a counter, KDB through-ball to Aguero. And from there, a bloodbath.

It was like 18 minutes rather than 15, and KDB scored rather than assist, and it wasn't a counter ... but I wasn't totally off. 
Monreal's been playing more as a left-sided CB for a while now, and he's actually pretty good at it. Consistent, reliable.

All right, the result sucked, a number of our players didn't show up, and Lacazette should have started. Crap game to watch.
Could have been worse. Debatable penalty and clear offside goal made the difference.
Can't wait to see this squad overhauled and revitalized though.

If ever we needed evidence of how far off the top we are now, that was it. City were short of their best, playing in a ground with no big game atmosphere, and saw us with no issue whatsoever.
It's a good thing the rest of the league is crap, so we won't drop into mid-table just yet.

I use to remember not too long ago that waking up early to watch the NLD meant that I was guaranteed to have an amazing weekend. Times have changed for real. I would love to be proven wrong but I just cannot see us beating Spuds anymore.
