Dembele lacks confidence and often looks afraid to go into challenges which is frustrating at times but still, he was the obvious choice over Andre 'Donkey' Gomes who is nothing more than a laughing stock for the viewers.

All in all, I think the only reason Dembele isn't a regular yet is because he has yet to grow himself a bigger set of balls... but that requires more playing time and then we're stuck in a loop of absurd.

Also, Valverde is a coward and he very well knows we'll never be a 4-4-2 team. Tbh, our wins are rarely convincing this season

The only reason why Gomes started that he can do defensive work better then still adopting Dembele.

Except he can't. If by defensive work you mean fouling an opponent then Dembele would definitely be equally effective.

Everyobody knows by now that Gomes is just a passenger in the games. He offers nothing neither offensively nor defensively.

Dembele would at least give us the advantage on counters in the second half where Atleti exposed themselves but we had nobody to run into those acres of space they left behind.

Ramos came off the pitch vs EIbar in second half to go take a dump, took a good 10 minutes, Zidane said that she shat himself a bit so he had to come off we had already done all our subs, so we played with 10 men for a bit

Neto is playing a blinder for Valencia so far.

I admire Montella's approach but he's trying to play an attacking game with no goalscorers in his team. It leaves the backline exposed without the payoff of actually scoring a goal.

If Muriel could actually score he'd be world class.

La Liga has some amazing banter lmao well in Zaza and Ramos.

Atletico just wouldnt let up... 8 points still it is, but in this league, it just is never easy. Our point tally this season is so amazing, but still they are is within sight. Although at least we won the 6 pointer.... still cant relax yet though. Lucky they are out of the CL already, would be nightmare to face them again in that.

Tbh Leganes have great La Liga heritage. They are playing in La Liga since 2016.
