Yeah he flopped in the very, very early days of NXT and became a big star in TNA, i know that he's highly rated but that's about it.

I know nothing about his wrestling style, promos etc etc. Mind you i know *bleep* all about the indies tbh, i never watched Adam Cole before the last NXT ppv.

The word making the rounds at the WWE Performance Center over the last several days is that members of the latest class being signed for WWE NXT, which will be revealed in January are:

Ricochet aka the former Prince Puma in Lucha Underground, who had been expected to sign for some time. Impact Wrestling had made a run at him, but was unsuccessful.

Warbeard Hanson and Ray Rowe aka War Machine in ROH. It is believed the team (who were not under contract) finished up with the promotion at Final Battle and the Philadelphia TV taping the following day. They will finish up with New Japan at Wrestle Kingdom.

There are other names circulating as well as potentially being signed, including a very prominent female independent talent. Stay tuned.

Although there are rumors about Styles vs. Cena at Mania, I’m told that right now that is incorrect, and Cena is in a much bigger match than Styles. The only thing I was told is it will be clear within a few weeks what that match is. Bigger than a WWE title match seems to limit it to a non-regular or surprise guy and the only names I can come up with would be Undertaker, Batista, Goldberg or Hogan, and at Hogan’s age with his back problems, it would surprise me if he could get cleared even if the sponsors were okay with his returning. My guess is the top of the Mania card will be shot largely on the 25th anniversary Raw because that will be the show with the largest viewing audience of the year most likely

Cena was not advertised as being on the Rumble show in an ad I saw, but it was probably an older ad since Lesnar and Balor in Demon gear were prominently featured. But the most up-to-date headliners listed for that show also doesn’t include Cena

Also it's good it's not happening again, there's no real reason for it. Styles vs Orton or Nakamura is fine considering it won't close the show.
