Isn't that the other way around or is there a new development in the transfer? hmm

I'm very surprised other elite clubs never tried going for Sanchez btw, yeah it's insane money for a player wth 6 months on his contract but he's still in his 20s and you won't find a player of similar quality for even double that fee in the summer, really baffling to me we didnt even hear about Juve, Bayern, Real etc being interested, Juve I can understand since maybe he priced himself out for them, but still..

it's huge he isn't CL tied, think we may actually scrape past Sevilla now

We are almost surely priced out of Alexis, Bayern probably too. I don't even know how much he earns but I'm sure its too much. Madrid should have been all up in there.

I always wanted him at Juve, and we tried to sign him from Udinese.

Gonna give United a jump in quality.

We already struggle to balance our attacking depth as it is, to be honest and his wages were always going to make this move an impossibility

By that, I don't mean that Alexis wouldn't find minutes. It would just be an odd investment, given there are other areas of the team that need more improving than our attack

I think 2 seasons from now you'll get him tbh, swap deal for Dybala :coffee: True, the figures being thrown around for his wages are at a staggering 400K p/w. It's stupid money.

He improves literally every top team in the world though, bar possibly PSG.

Real are the most baffling here for sure, he would be perfect for them going forward, scenes when they sign that fraud Hazard for 100M

Not at those wages, unless its a Tevez type of deal

Agreed. Him not being cup tied, with an expiring contract being desperate to leave now makes him a viable target for any and every team trying to accomplish anything this season

With that being said, I understand us not being in for him after spending nearly 90M on Douglas/Bernardeschi last summer, Higuain the summer before and greatly improving Dybala's wages last summer as well

tbh sanchez is a very good player but he is not the same player he was 2 years ago. maybe that's why the big clubs overlooked him. he is 29 now and he is a player that relies on pace so that could also be why they overlooked him.

Even so, on an expiring contract with the ability to make an immediate impact in all major competitions is not something to so easily overlook

His wages probably make up for the "lower" fee though hmm

You have absolute jobbers like Oxlade going for 40m and on 150K p/w, Keita going for 70m etc

Sanchez for 50-60m is still an unreal piece of business

so what happens? Martial and Rashford are completely hosed here lol. Sanchez is the second striker and Lukaku/Ibra are the CFs. They literally have no more future at Man U.

Ibra is going. MKhitaryan is going. Rashford is terribly out of form and at present dont deserve to be a regular starter.

no need to take shots at Spurs fans because it's only CB left and he can't decide if he's supporting them, Barca or Minneapolis United this week

This particular week I'm supporting all three lad. Surprised you remembered my affinity for Minnesota United the. All credit to you.
