Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
Isn't that the other way around or is there a new development in the transfer?

it being peter parker is irrelevant to the meme
anyway I hope Martial is decent on the right or gets used to playing LB, hate to see his career derailed due to this

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
I always wanted him at Juve, and we tried to sign him from Udinese.
Gonna give United a jump in quality.

By that, I don't mean that Alexis wouldn't find minutes. It would just be an odd investment, given there are other areas of the team that need more improving than our attack

Real are the most baffling here for sure, he would be perfect for them going forward, scenes when they sign that fraud Hazard for 100M

Not at those wages, unless its a Tevez type of deal

Agreed. Him not being cup tied, with an expiring contract being desperate to leave now makes him a viable target for any and every team trying to accomplish anything this season
With that being said, I understand us not being in for him after spending nearly 90M on Douglas/Bernardeschi last summer, Higuain the summer before and greatly improving Dybala's wages last summer as well

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
tbh sanchez is a very good player but he is not the same player he was 2 years ago. maybe that's why the big clubs overlooked him. he is 29 now and he is a player that relies on pace so that could also be why they overlooked him.Firenze wrote:I'm very surprised other elite clubs never tried going for Sanchez btw, yeah it's insane money for a player wth 6 months on his contract but he's still in his 20s and you won't find a player of similar quality for even double that fee in the summer, really baffling to me we didnt even hear about Juve, Bayern, Real etc being interested, Juve I can understand since maybe he priced himself out for them, but still..

Even so, on an expiring contract with the ability to make an immediate impact in all major competitions is not something to so easily overlook

City have pulled the plug on Alexis

Was all agreed with the agent but he told them United are offering more. Their response: “ok, bye then.”
Guardiola on board with this as Alexis is open to the United move, such is his desperation to leave Arsenal.https://t.co/Jy0FraWm8L

Re: Alexis Sanchez transfer saga
£30 million fee, £5 million signing on fee, £5m agent fee, plus a wage packet that’s £250k a week basic plus a stack of bonuses.

Alexis Sanchez at Manchester United barring a huge u-turn. Incredible work from Ed Woodward here. Didn’t think he had it in him to swoop like this.
ffs what a signing, getting him at just double the wages Oxlade-Chambermaid is on and he's 10x the player

Ibra is going. MKhitaryan is going. Rashford is terribly out of form and at present dont deserve to be a regular starter.

no need to take shots at Spurs fans because it's only CB left and he can't decide if he's supporting them, Barca or Minneapolis United this week
This particular week I'm supporting all three lad. Surprised you remembered my affinity for Minnesota United the. All credit to you.
Remember BC tho. He's essentially a Spurs fan.
