Happy for him, he's been solid this season. He's been an incredibly humble and hardworking presence at Juve, big shame about his injuries because he seemed like he was going to be quite something when he arrived

Also no free agent will join a big club for <€100k/week lol, Can has hit the jackpot if Juventus want him. He will also receive a hefty signing fee instead of Liverpool so he won‘t really be free either.

Flamini made a living as a free agent, Milan gave him €100k/week and that was in 2008.

nah, financially it makes sense and he would bolster the midfield options, it would be a good move if you sign him regardless of how I personally rate him, worst case he's meh and you move him on at a profit in 2-3 seasons, best case he GOAT's and you profit big (stranger things have happened)

as long as he isnt being signed with the intent of being a midfield starter and you dont sign someone else/others also

We play enough games to fit everyone in and our midfield is quite dire at the moment. Forget profile and everything: Khedira, Matuidi and Marchisio all on the wrong side of 30. Bentancur is a young lad, way too raw and Sturaro is the consistent reminder that any of us could play professionally. That only leaves Pjanic. If we sign Can for free and make a tier 1 midfield signing in addition to him, I think every Juve fan [except Tom probably], will be happy. If we sign Can and then a Cristante or something, it'll be a slight improvement still, but not what everyone would have hoped for

not necessarily, they can give him a huge signing bonus to compensate, like 10-15 mil. It's peanuts in terms of transfer fees but at least you dont break your wage structure

Considering Elkanns give us next no investments it will probably be a AS or Dybala sacrifice to improve the midfield. With the pleaothera of attackers we have i wouldn't mind selling dybala after all we have pjaca coming back next season and Bernardeschi has proven himself. seems like we are settled to sell AS as well and replace him with Spinazzola and darmian so who actually knows what cheap fix we will go for lol

With the future of Leipzig head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl now up for debate, Bild report that Werner is looking for a transfer.
