Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
Real Madrid are ready to make an offer for Roma and Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker, according to reports in France.
The shot-stopper has impressed a great deal this season, both in Serie A and the Champions League.
RMC Sport claim that the Merengues have already viewed Alisson several times via scouts and are ready to make a proposal shortly.
The price-tag is at least €70m and he has also attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.
Real Madrid have been seeking a new goalkeeper for some time, but their bids for Manchester United’s David De Gea fell apart.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
I mean plenty of top teams who have become sleeping giants have to eventually attract the best to be the best.
Youre right, Milan wont be signing Griezmann, but like Madrid in 08-09, you cant simply say we dont have the pull like they did, We have 7 ucls, and 18 serie a's, most the players playing nowadays grew up watch the black and red, we have plenty of Ballon D'or winners...etc
Just to put into perspective, I recall how people laughed and scoffed at Real, there was a time when i genuinely felt bad for real fans, as they had an aging team who was spanked by Liverpool. Fast forward a year later, Ronaldo, Kaka, Alonso, Benzema....I honestly dont think anyone saw that coming.
Not saying were identical, but Real during that interim phase between galacticos resembles the kind of squad where someone might remark "player x would never go there"
Just wait and see i guess, you all laugh now, and given that were getting schooled by Juventus atm, I can see why.
But NO, Kalinic is not as good as it gets, not by a mile, and for a team with more Champions leagues than all but Real, you can certainly bet on us trying to return to the top
td:dr: Ya'll are ripping Milan pretty bad, but that wont last

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
Well this is really his second season doing well, but this season he has stepped it up,
Shouldnt go for anywhere near 70m, but roma is under FFP restrictions and selling one guy for that much might mean they dont have to sell their best players over and over, after this season they should be over the initial debt they had incurred building the squad

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
No one cares about Roma FFP problems this is robbery. If we pay that smh.
More importantly why is a French journalist breaking news on the transfer for a Brazilian player at an Italian club? He is beating even Do Marzio, sounds like BS however reliable Mohamed bouhafsi is, I believe it when I see it

Talking about strikers, Ayoze never plays as one.
We've been using bums like Joselu and Dwight Gayle

Torres would be as bum like as those 2. Torres really is not any way, shape or form a signing Newcastle should be making. Like at all.

I've personally observed Joselu (through Flashscores, because ain't nobody got time for Moucastle) secure at least 10 points in the last couple of months for Newcastle. Put some damn respect on his name ffs

tbf he's played half the minutes Joselu has this season and scored 1 less goal so he might be an upgrade

I know that, I'm just saying he'd probably be better than what we have.
When Mike Ashley is your owner you don't really get the possibility of being picky tbh.
As sad as that is.

Ashley will probably greenlight Solanke on loan and call it a day on the striker front this summer IMO

Can't wait till he scores 15 goals and I get to abuse Hans for writing him off tbh.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2018/19
I realise you have a ridiculous low opinion of your strikers but I can guarantee you Mole, Torres is as bad as they are. Whatever their level is, however their level is, Torres is there too.
Ashley, for the cheap pos that he is, can actually go for other targets that won't costthe clubhim plenty money for whatever he is doing with that sweet Sky money.

Torres-Ayoze
ufff
My hometown club (MLS) currently tries to sign Fernando Torres
Heard it 2 hours ago on the radio coming back from job. That "we" have very advanced talks with Torres, nearly done dealio in fact
MLS seems a much better career choice at this point than go flop in Newcastle. Barely relevant anymore, 5 years past his peak for european standards. Might as well follow David Villa's path.

That's the issue no Newcastle fan expects him to spend his own money, but he won't even allow the manager to spend the money we get from TV and other avenues.
If I thought we'd use TV money I wouldn't be saying this and would aim higher.
