Fred + Fabinho would be good signings, though..I'm still not entirely sure where Fabinho is supposed to play? I hear he still plays RB often? ain't nobody got time for Ligue 1. Is he a CM/DM or a RB ffs. Whoscored says he played basically the entire last season as a DM/CM

Matic is our next captain lol, he's nailed on. One of Fabinho and Fred won't start, but I've read that Fabinho could be our RB. Again, I know he has played there before but IDK nothing about him really outside of European games last season. I think midfield is his ideal position? @sportsczy @Nick

Ligue 1 giants Marseille are interested in Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, reports L'Equipe.

According to the French outlet, Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has held talks with the Belgium international's representatives over a potential move, but his wage demands may prove to be a stumbling block. Fellaini, 30, is out of contract at Old Trafford this summer and has also been linked with a move to AC Milan.

As well as Fellaini, L'Equipe reports that Marseille are also considering a move for former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, who is now a free agent.

He's small (like 5'6) but he's good, a bit Kante like in terms of his workrate and movement (though not nearly as good), excellent passer, scores the odd banger of a goal. He's also dirt cheap at 25M release clause and he's young. He was the player most heavily linked to join Napoli as Jorginho's replacement before Ancelotti took over

Brazil midfielder Fred has revealed he is aware of strong interest from Manchester United.

The Premier League side have been linked with a £44m move for the Shakhtar Donetsk player.

The 25-year-old says the interest has come after United’s rivals Manchester City also made enquiries earlier this year.

Fred is currently with his national team squad in Brazil preparing for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

Speaking at a press conference covered by Globo Esporte, Fred said: “The talks had been in progress since January with City. Soon after, City and United talked to Shakhtar and my agents.

“And now, if I’m not mistaken, there was news of a very strong bid from United.”
