New Everton manager Marco Silva wants to land Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof according to the Mirror .

Lindelof struggled in his debut season after making a £31.5 million switch from Benfica last summer, though Jose Mourinho is not keen to give up on him yet.

However, Silva, would be willing to pay £35m (€39.8m/$47m) for the 23-year-old Sweden international should United decide to sell.

Liverpool are prepared to come in with an offer for Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope as they hope to solve their goalkeeper woes, reports the Sun .

The Reds have been linked to Roma’s Alisson, however he has been price at upwards of £70 million (€80m/$94m).

Liverpool will be a much cheaper £15m for Pope, who may be allowed to leave with Tom Heaton set to return for the Clarets from injury.

Would be a great signing for us but "versatile defender"? He was so bad as a left back that he was booed by our own fans constantly and the only thing that saved his career was moving him to midfield.

he's played the majority of his career here as a CB/LB

mostly as depth, average at best there

he's probably forgotten how to play as a midfielder at this point

well it's a good strategy, he is putting it out in the medias, how much he wants. So if Juventus call him, he will say look, Madrid are willing to pay 170 mil, what about you?

Obviously if Madrid call, he will still no doubt ask for that much money.

He is crazy if he thinks anyone will pay that. And SMS would need to play like Zidane in 2006 to be worth that after the World cup

Sergej himself said he would decide his future after the World Cup

I don't think anything will materialize before then and the only club I can see paying a surplus of 100M of, is Manchester United, who have a lesser concept of money than the 16 year old daughter of a billionaire with a black card
