What center could we get that would be playable in the playoffs? Really wasn't much to do with that position. McGee has really improved and I like him. Zubac needs to show he belongs though. He was shit last year, mainly due to a horrible body transformation gone wrong where he lost all his strength trying to lose weight. And looked dehydrated at times.

Think we'll play really fast, and really small. Maybe Beasley is gonna be in the rotation as the 5. If he wants to play any defense. He was actually really great last year.

I still don't know what we could've done at the Center position.

Only three I'd say you can't match up out of the game.

Hell we played with Randle at Center last season and won against 76ers.

Against Utah I don't see why you can't play small and Force Gobert out. He's not gonna be any good on offense.

i dont know if a single win translate to much in the regular season.

There are some good Cs in the league, the best teams have a anchor C that will play crunchtime. Jaja will be that for the lakers i guess, but it still looks like a missed opportunity to me.

I mean Houston went 7 and Adams has consistently given the Warriors fits throughout their entire run.

So basically your argument falls down to Gobert which is fair enough but I don't find it a coincidence that everyone in the West has a legitimately great starting center.

Capela was unplayable a lot of times against Warriors.
GSW have no center. Their best lineup is with 6'6 Draymond Green at C.

Those are the two teams if we're being honest.

There really isn't a Center in the West that's a problem. Well the Davis dicussion, but he's unguardable either way.

Isn't my entire argument that hardly any Centers can play meaningful minutes against the truly good teams? Because they're either shit on offense, or defense.

I don't see what Centers you can get in Free Agency who'd be able to play against GSW. We might as well just go small and try to outrun and outscore.

Yeah but I don't believe that tbh, almost all good teams starting centers can stay on the floor.

It's a myth perpetrated because of Gobert but the large majority of good teams starting C doesn't get played off the floor.
