I'm legit feeling nervous about this.

One thing Sweden did very well against Switzerland was push up onto their centre backs and prevent them from playing out from the back. They made a number of good chances by forcing turnovers in that part of the pitch.

England will play the ball all out no matter the situation. It's the one thing Southgate will never stray from, even though the players aren't all comfortable doing it. Sometimes, Stones or Maguire will find good passes through the press, but I've seen plenty of bad and loose touches too which could invite pressure.

Given the strength of Sweden's defence so far and the lack of creativity in our team, I just can't see us scoring. Even from set-pieces, because they don't lose out in height and physicality against us. Just mark Maguire and don't wrestle Kane to the ground and you're good to go.

Ok lads let's calm down with the scepticism. Sweden press well for 60 mins and then let in wave after wave of attack. If England are patient they'll create plenty of chances. Sterling and Lingard scare me tbh. They are the kind of unpredictable players we won't have a plan for. They don't have a set position, I feel they'll confuse our defensive players

Honestly Hala i'd be way more confident if we played Switzerland, you being solid at the back and well organised greatly concerns me tbh.

if england had salah and mane to go with kane i would seriously give us a chance but sterling and lingard are just not cutting it.

Salah and Mane are as good as Sterling and Lingard if Southgate will be the manager tbf
