Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
Here is hoping that Mainz can do to Alphonso Davies future team what Freiburg did to BMG yesterday. To be honest, I would rather watch the BVB v Hertha game, Dortmund is the kool team that all the hipsters love this week, but the man only shows Bayern games here on the Iceberg.

Finally! VAR does something good, cancels a Bayern goal.

HT Scores
Dortmund - Hertha (Sa.) -:- (1:1)
Hipsters will love that Sancho scored for BVB, old timers will love that Kalou replied for Berlin
Mainz - Bayern -:- (0:1)
VAR can only do so much. Mainz did start off positively, but jut are not good enough.
Hannover - Augsburg -:- (0:1)
Sami's brother with the goal for Augsburg
Düsseldorf - Wolfsburg -:- (0:1)
Fortuna looking like a relegation candidate.

What I was afraid would happen is happening. All the teams ahead of Bayern are dropping points and the Pig Famers will be back in first place by the end of next weekend

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
Dortmund - Hertha (Sa.) 2:2 (1:1)
doubles for Sancho and Kalou
Mainz - Bayern 1:2 (0:1)
Bayern will probably lose more games this season then last, Mainz is just a team that will struggle in above the relegation zone
Hannover - Augsburg 1:2 (0:1)
Düsseldorf - Wolfsburg 0:3 (0:1)
Fortuna probably will be relegated

I remember 2-3 seasons back Munich was 6/7 around halfway mark and they won the league with 2-3 games remaining.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
Sorry ifti but I genuinely don't think we have been anywhere as bad as 6th, 7th, in midseason, in the seasons to follow 09/10
in Jupp's first season 11/12 we were great at the half way mark, the legendary bestest winter training camp of all galaxies and timezones only to bottle the league from January on
12/13 we had the highest point tally in history, basically always 1st
13/14-15/16 Pep era, always first.
Ancelotti's second season, last season, we were briefly 3rd or 4th after a few match days, went back to the top whne Jupp rejoined.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
It's OK. Time goes rather quickly (and quietly). I don't remember the years correctly. Just vaguely recall a season when Munich came back from death.Hapless_Hans wrote:Sorry ifti but I genuinely don't think we have been anywhere as bad as 6th, 7th, in midseason, in the seasons to follow 09/10

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
Today is the "All teams that played Europa games will lose" day, or that is my theory.
This game is not on tv here, but at least the El Classico between Werder and the Pretenders is being shown live. Watching this game on Russian Ace Stream. Not really complaining, becaus the picture quality is usually very good, but why can I only get Russian Ace Stream feeds? The German and English ones never work.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
Because the English streamers don't care for Leipzig Schalke while the PL AND the Clasico is on, German people don't know how to use computers, and the Russians are the true professionals.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread (18/19)
It would appear skipping the RB vs Schalke game was the right call, 0-0 it ended.
Now finally a real El Classico, with marque players like Maxi Eggestein and Kai Haavertz!

I take that back, shit game, nothing to see here.
The Pretneders, who should always lose games like this, can not even be trusted to do that
