He has upside and he contributes offensively and defensively but...idk, he's just not all that imo.

His FG% isn't disastrous so that's good. He just hasn't shot as many threes and gotten up to 15 pts a game which is what I was hoping for. Many other players out there that can give me more points

Maybe indeed a new team would do him good.

Porter won't improve unless he gets traded or John Wall does.

He shots like 9 a game and that ain't changing unless he goes somewhere else or they get a new point guard.

Not vs those guys they don't seem as consistent in defence as Covington, and no top attacking to compensate. Sorry i must reject.

I don't think Hield provides enough steals and blocks. Wouldn't do 1v1 fast like that. Unless we do a package Covington + someone vs Hield + Nurkic/Allen.

Until I get further info on Dwight Howard, don't really feel comfortable dealing out Nurkic. Otherwise I would consider putting him up there for Covington.

1) it was always going to he Hield + another player

2) the basis was predicated on the fact that you took a singular Doncic for Butler, and Hield's value isn't far from Doncic.

The biggest difference between the two is upside, and any lacking of upside Doncic had that Hield didn't was to be covered by another player.

It would have been a very fair deal relative to the one you got. I would personally argue better but to each his own :coffee:

You're completely ignoring the fact this is the highest Hield is ever going to get, Doncic is very, very likely to improve and he's better anyway.

Not to mention Butler will get worse anyway, hell we are already seeing it.

Besides it's really irrelevant, you've gone from offering a player for a 21-5-4 guy to offering him for at best a 13-6 guy lol.

Some would say i am preaching for my own parish, but Covington is worth more than 13-6. One of my most useful players so far, i would not consider trading him if he stayed at 76ers.

Wish they traded Butler to another team, a team like Blazers would have been very dangerous if they got him.

It's almost like FG% matters, adding Young's 20 and 8 isn't worth taking on his 39% from the field.

Your offer was for Towns, he's my pillar. Very consistent and missed very few games in his career due to injury.

Can't trade that for Trae Young who, judging by his profile, is inconsistent to the highest limits. Has few games at 20 pts 10 assists, rest of the time not even 10 pts and assists. Pass. Would trade vs Schroder or Turner at best.

nobody's perfect.

Besides he's a rookie, all the chance that will rise throughout the season as he gets more comfortable to the NBA style and learns to take wiser shots. Young ain't no deadass bum, and I ain't intent on letting him go for know deadass deal as well. He's got value.
