What's his problem anyway? The guy is built like a freight train. Is he too small to defend 5's and too slow/big to defend 4's?

It’s effort. He was great last year as a 5.

He was able to switch onto guards at all times basically and keep up.

I blame the Pelicans.

He doesn't defend at all lol, he looks lost with what to do off the ball. He can't defend the rim at all. He doesn't contest shots, he can't stop penetration.

When Jahlil Okafor is outperforming you defensively you suck lol.

I'm struggling to think what he does do defensively which is positive. People criticised Boogie but at least he boxed out and defends the rim at a pretty high level.

That's without mentioning his issues offensively where if the ball is in someone elses hands he might as well not be there and he doesn't set screens either.

Positives are that he's a really good iso scorer and in general quite skilled with the ball in his hands and majority of the time he's quite good at finding people in transition.

But that doesn't matter when you're like the worst in the league defensively at your position lol.
