Will we qualify for CL?

We're officially Arsenal. This season is all about the 4th place trophy. Alaves is in 4th place currently. Same goal differential (+3). Getafe has a better GD than is (+5). Betis Seville could give us a run for our money too.

The title of the topic broke my heart. It pains me greatly to see Madrid being run like a midtable team and having objectives as such.

Fuck all those responsible for this. Fuck every single soul who lowered their standard and were content with mediocrity, from Florentino to the ball boy.

we will, alavez and sevilla will meet road blocks, so i'm cool.....but then again, i was positive about this game against sociedad, so who knows

I think we will make at least 4th on the condition that I believe Solari will be sacked before it becomes unreachable. If Solari continues until the end of the season, I think there is a very real chance we do not get 4th place.

Perez understands the importance of the CL money. He will eventually cave and hire a proper manager when results don't improve- which they will not (IMO) under Solari. It's just a matter of time. I think I initially predicted a late February sack date (after our first Ajax loss), but with the way things are going it may be sooner.

Our next 5 La Liga matches to give some context.

Then our first Ajax match.

We could lose every single one of those matches and I wouldn't be surprised.

I see two guaranteed losses there, 1 likely win and 2 up in the air.

Of course god forbid it but it does look like we will be eliminated either in RO16 or QF this year in CL. If thats the caae then we should shift focus on qualifiying for UCL and ending the year on a good note. I believe we will qualify as soon as these players realize that qualifying for UCL is not guaranteed anymore
