Sure looks like the so called Zidane revamping is changing the bench!

The only exits appear to be Bale, Ceballos, Llorente, Vallejo, Reguilion, Navas!!

Incoming Hazard, Militao and Rodrygo plus supposedly if they can agree on price Jovic and Mendy!!

We all seemed to think that some revamping of midfield was essential, but with these renewals, it’s highly doubtful if any of Pogba, Eriksen, or Ndombele will come!

Someone said a week or so ago that he hoped Zidane would be wary of retaining the old guard! Looks like that’s exactly what might happen.

It looks like we rely on a questionable Courtois backed up by a third or fourth level kid.

Defense is the same except there will be competition for incumbents in CB and LB.

Midfield also sounds like same old with who know what in reserve.

Only area thst is getting a boost is front line.

besides modric on the bench aint a bad idea. we all know he aint getting any younger. but that experience and quality can be very useful if used correctly.

My guess is they are hoping Modric will take a rotational role aka Iniesta in his last season. That by default means only one new MF, likely Pogba and if not Eriksen. We can forget about the hope of getting Ndombele. That means Casemiro and Kroos continue to start with bench being Iniesta, Valverde and Isco! I see a lot of same old problems!

And re the front line, club just put a horrendous exit price on Asensio essentially prohibiting him from leaving. We need to make the Jovic deal (to play RW)
