Easiest way to have a keeper league is just setting a specific number of players each team HAS to keep. Like 2-4. And then draft the rest.

If it's optional it gets a lot more complicated.

Yeah keeping 2-3 players would probably be optimal if we did it.

I dropped Isaac once Bagley came back from another injury. This guy's career is fucked so early, in 2 season he was already out long term like 5 times.

It’ll be from next year. So we draft as normal.

So obviously this season doesn't have a winner, but I would say that if we were to determine any results, they should be the current league standings.

Congrats to Luca for his first place, Habs with second, and me with 3rd.

4th is UrbaN with a great showing

5th is El G. Makes sense

6th is Ghost which is myesyats I think

7th is Vibe but he is first in our hearts

8th is Freeza, who I think could have been a player you didn't wanna meet in the playoffs despite the low seed

9th is Art who had some adversity with Kelly Oubre Jr and Paul George throughout the season

10th is Mole

What a great season, it's been super fun

Luca: unreal moneyball team congrats
Habs: disappointed by most players
CBucks: not so cute on paper but efficient
Harden: very cute on paper AND efficient
Booker: coronavirus a blessing in disguise
Ghost: was more balanced at the end, had a lot of defensive centers which costed him cats here and there, still made the playoffs for his first season
Numpteam: built a great team out of no where, won his trades, and lacked time
BBB: too late at the party
Mambas: injuries screwed him again poor draft did not help ) after review it is quite decent
Chillbert: instead of using injuries as excuse he has given up

Next year i'll probably play, i miss the game, but we need to discuss if we do keeper league or not

If a couple of individuals don't want to play or we can't get people behind a keeper league then we could either just reduce the league to a lower # or people could get some IRL friends to join.

Unless they joined GL they wouldn't have this as an outlet, but they could still play, make trades etc.

I got a buddy who I think would join in, for example.

Where there's a will there's a way, even if a couple of individuals don't want to do it anymore, which is their prerogative.

My roommate could enter as well. Know him since 25 years (i am 25) so he's legit

In fact he already follows our league passively, he once said if we lack someone he's ready to join and he is a massive NBA fan. He's also aware of this forum but has no interest for "soccer" so he would not subscribe here i think

But that would be last resort hopefully everyone comes back.

Fun thing, last season i had 4 roommates (the same lad + 3 other good friends) and i think they were rooting for CBucks i suggest to never do this btw, we'd rarely argue, but 5 guys in their mid-twenties in the same apartment is a big fucking mess, especially on week ends. We all regressed in our life projects

Freeza and Mole said they will play if we do a keeper league, and Luca never said he will quit, his line-ups were always set. So as far as i know, we are already 8 players, maybe still the same 10

The debate is just the "keeper or no keeper" format of the league...

I just lurked out of boredom once or twice and stumbled upon my name being mentioned - much to my surprise, i dont know anything about NBA though so I don't think I'm qualified to participate.

See you guys in what... december ? Apparently NBA won't interfere with olympics, it means a lot of back-to-backs next season. Rest and maybe injuries will increase.
