To the surprise of nobody....

During the meeting with journalists, the president of the CD Projekt group - Adam Kiciński - announced that after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the company will start producing another title in the Witcher world.

- We have already been working on another single player game, we have created a relatively clear concept that is waiting for further development. And this is already beginning to happen, although we do not want to spend time at the moment - explains the manager.

- Immediately after the completion of work on Cyberpunk 2077, work on the next title will start from a hoof - he adds. The new project is embedded in the Witcher universe, which is in line with the earlier assurances of CD Project.

- We have two worlds and within these worlds we want to create games, therefore all planned games are either "witcher" or "cyberpunk", explains the manager.

The preparation of the game - which, as Kiciński emphasizes, will not be called The Witcher 4 - will be handled by the smallest team of the Polish company. Two larger teams will be responsible for the network mode and additions to Cyberpunk 2077

is there anything more hype in gaming than Yakuza's boss fight introductions? I don't think so

been listening to a lot of the OST last month or so which is fucking banging too

hyped for 7 even if I haven't played majority of the series, just watched vids on the story

You're missing out not playing. 0 and Kiwami 2 are amazing.

After finishing Death Stranding, I started playing Dark Souls Remastered. Blighttown in 60 FPS is incredibly cathartic.

Close to zero experience with Yakuza outside of 2-3 demos played on PS4 of the remakes and I was pleasantly surprised. I assumed Yakuza would just be an arcade style fighting game but all of them are genuinely refreshing worlds of variety, Japanese authenticity (to which I crave) and does not take itself too seriously.

Their worlds are detailed, stories with nuance beyond the obvious things and the main character is quite interesting. May just get into it beginning with Yakuza 0, one day.

Very impressive series. Agreed with the soundtrack. And the Karaoke is just amazing rofl

As for Dark Souls; fuck blight town. Nightmare level and spent 2 days in that cesspool environment but it was designed that way. Glad to hear the remaster fixes the frame rate as that error only made it more of an abomination. Memorable level though.

You really should get into playing Yakuza 0. The game has an infamously slow start, which has put a lot of people off even giving it a chance, but enduring through it is worth it. It’s the best game in the series by a significant margin, and it’s the best entry point, as well. Not only is Kazuma Kiryu an interesting, likeable character despite his calm, composed, and seemingly monotonous personality, but other characters like, Majima are very interesting as well.

I love Majima’s character introduction in Yakuza 0, and I genuinely wish they’d made a game that focuses entirely on how he was before he turned into the highly irrational, crazed and unpredictable person he’s known to be throughout the series. The way they showed a glimpse into how he was before he made that rather abrupt transition in personality, was a low-key stroke of genius, in my opinion, and I wish they’d capitalized on it instead of introducing a brand new character for their upcoming games.

Yakuza 0 is ideally my first one as I love going strictly in chronological order and its 80s Japanese vibe I know I will adore.

Kiryu in my short-sampled experience I found very interesting. Not just a stoic exterior with a heart of gold but definitely his own character with his own subtleties.

Glad you pointed me in the right direction and will let this thread know when I begin!

Yakuza 0 tests your patience earlier but like a Hitchcock movie suddenly the scenario shifts upside down and then things move, like really move. Absolutely love this game. Also Majhima>>>>

Yakuza 0 is amazing i can confirm, would have been my GOTY in the most stacked year of the generation if Persona 5 didn't exist.

You'll either love it or hate it. After almost selling the game I got hooked into the gameplay loop. The online aspect is great. The deliveries can get addicting but also monotonous. The ending sequences and boss fights were incredible. I thought the story was average but then it really comes together in a satisfying way.

Yakuza is the closest thing to Shenmue which piqued my interest and the demos proved how accurate it is to Japan (I mean its from there) so that's why I am convinced to be beginning the series one time or another.

Sony acquiring Metal Gear Solid off of Konami's hands may just mean Kojima I hope will be on board with them again since he won't have a pachinko machine company on his back about deadlines. Unlikely since he seems done with the franchise but one can hope.

If the Silent Hill speculation is true I cannot imagine how happy more hardcore fans of the series will feel, since I have not played it since part four. PT was genuinely a treat.

And can't wait to play death stranding. I know I will end up enjoying it.
